Im 5'9 and 185 lbs. Im about a size 32 waist. Ive always been a slim guy, but weigh a bit more than dudes my height because of the gym.

Anyways, I just discovered this morning after working out that I have a few stretch marks at the top of my calf muscles on the back side of my leg. Who knew? I apparently missed these for years seeing as my last growth spurt was in my late teens. And Im still pretty slim so they arent new.

I guess thats just another set to go along with the few on my butt lmao. Yup, this brother got hit with that backside growth spurt back in the day xD. Ive always been told by girls that I have a big ass, or a "girl butt" haha.

But hell, because of my skin tone, I didnt even notice the ones on my butt until a couple years ago when I decided to examine.

I thought to examine because my ex has some on her butt that came from a growth spurt. Shes petite, about 5'2, 102 lbs, and a size zero...but had a bubble butt. So I decided to check myself and low and behold. Its apparent I couldnt avoid these since Ive always been a slim guy and growth spurts are part of biology and all. Though a tiny part me wishes I had control over that haha...but Id rather have my junk in the trunk (:lmao:) and regular sized legs, instead of a flat ass and chicken legs.

Anyways, I know some guys arent too keen on stretch marks depending on the area, visibility, and the amount of them...so I thought Id ask girls the same question lol. My ex's werent bad...noticeable but only a few on both sides of her butt near her hips. At first, seeing as I was a lot more shallow and immature back then, it did bother me a tad lol. But I ended up loving them and thought they were cute and a testament to her bubble booty.

Mine are faint and you only make them out if you truly look for them in good lighting. Hell I can barely make out the butt ones at times. The calf ones I see better since my skins a little lighter there. So what say you womenz? This isnt something Im self conscious about at all...and I actually like that Im not perfect but can still feel attractive about myself. Means Im not as shallow as I used to be and that Im making the most out of what I have. Tbh I just wanted to share and see what girls thought since this is a question I usually see women ask online.

Oh yeah...quick pic so you have an idea about my size....since I tend to weigh more than guys my height. Simply stating stats doesnt always give people a good idea of your body type. http://i46.tinypic.com/2hhhe2r.jpg I do wish I wasnt so darn slim...damn you ectomorph genetics xD

I guess Im just trying to compare womens thoughts to mens thoughts about certain physical things. Especially since I know girls deal with the plight of stretch marks much more often and seem to get them much worse than dudes.

You could always resort to heavy body makeup, if it unsettles you that much:)

5'8" 'bout 172 size 32 here.

If I got down to 165 i'd be back in my 30's but it's summer & the beer on a hot day....well you know. LOL!

I was 260 and got stretch marks on what's left of my luv handles & my ass.

most of my excess fat is on my lower ass & it's what causes me problems when it comes to pant's fitting.

mine are fading though.

Chicks don't care. the fact you are in a 32 & lift means you are are in better shape than the majority of men your age.

Even more so as you get older.

but I have to ask, what exactly are you doing with a woman that allows her to see the stretch marks on your ass?

I mean I know what i'm doing to her that would allow me to see stretch marks. :)

couldn't care less for stretch marks - unless the reason for their existence is a massive beer gut

^lol if you read my OP, youd see I stated that it doesnt bother me at all. Im just curious about womens thoughts since they tend to obsess over them. And I was really just trying to make some friendly conversation...because I totally laughed when I noticed them in the mirror this morning. I was like "lmao my skinny ass has leg calve stretch marks...trololol...thank god for my skin tone...another benefit of being black...skin imperfections are barely imperfections =P"

Lmao...after noticing my ex's marks for a while, I decided to check my own butt since I have a "big black dude butt" as she put it. Once I saw I had a few, I went and told her and we laughed about it and she wanted a look see.

It doesnt show in the picture, but trust me its there. I actually wear skinny jeans (fitted with room, not super tight stuff) or slim straight leg jeans. I actually take forever when I jean shop because a lot of slimmer jeans dont seem to accommodate big asses lmao.

Probably everyone has some stretch marks. I wouldn't worry about them and those who do care aren't people you'd want to be around too long.

Nice advice, but you are someone, people care to be around, with you posting that those who are adopted are worthless bastards. Lol. Good try.

Where have you been? Men have been wearing fitted jeans since jeans were invented :p. Plus I dont get complaints for the ladies...so its all good. Skinny jeans actually look quite good on slim folks as long as they arent too tight.

Way to create a quote of something I never even said in this thread. Good job.

Um...yes they are. I wasnt aware the definition of the word fitted changed :p. They are a type of fitted jeans. Slim straights are a type of fitted jean as well. There are other cuts as well...but they are still fitted jeans because they are made to fit the shape of the lower body...tapers and all that.

Next you are going to tell me theres only one size or type of fitted shirt =P

They are if you are skinny.

This exactly. Im a slim guy, so most skinny jeans have enough pull away room in them for me. Straight leg jeans and bootcuts are baggy on me so I prefer skinny jeans and slim straights.

Correct. Not all fitted jeans are skinny jeans...but all skinny jeans might fall into the fitted category. Not all mammals are lions.

And fitted in general sartorial terms means that the clothing is made to "fit" a person's body. A baggy bootcut might be just as fitted to one body as a super skinny is fitted to another... It generally isn't used to describe a particular cut.

I think you look good and wouldn't care about stretch marks. I am also petite and go to the gym three times a week. I have some stretch marks above my butt (love handle area). Even though I am small, I still have a little to grab onto in that area. And also a few on my inner thighs. None of them are noticeable unless you're looking for them.

^Given all that you said, you basically contradicted your earlier statement about skinny jeans not being fitted, no? Either way, people generally use the word "fitted" to describe clothing that tapers to ones figure. With jeans Ive heard people consider fitted to be anything smaller than regular ole straight cut jeans...since straight cuts dont taper to the body.

Anyways, this is me in Hollister skinnies. http://i49.tinypic.com/6izddw.jpg

Id assume your initial post was that of someone who assumes all skinny jeans are super tight like the ones hipsters or scene kids wear. Skinnies come in a few different cuts and arent all super tight.
