mishaps Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 Hi there, I will try and keep this short but her is the low down. I met this girl in a bar a few weeks ago and we were chatting and eventually exchanged numbers. We then were texting for a while and agreed to go out. It was a couple weeks before we found a free date but we met up on Wednesday for drinks. Before that we had been texting and just getting to know each other and from our texts we were both looking forward to our drinks date. We went for drinks on wednesday and had a great time and both ended up going home much later than planned. We had kind of said maybe we should do something on Friday and go for dinner. So following day ie Thursday she text me to see how hungover I was and etc so we text a little in the morning, in the evening I didn't mention Friday but she was like oh I may have to do this with my sister etc but I will let you know for definite if I haveto go etc by this eve but how was ur day etc.. it was a really long /'on' text as I will call it, jokey flirty etc. I replied basically saying no pressure if you have family thing you have a family thing. She didn't reply. Nothing on Friday. So I text her a friendly have a good weekend text on Saturday morning but nothing at all. So nothing from her end since Thursday! I don't get it we seemed to have a good time, she was the one that initiated that we should meet up again on Wednesday I played along to it but didn't push it, just was like yeah we definitely should etc so I don't get the lack of contact.... Any ideas
Brit Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 Absolutely no idea, but have you considered not texting her, but calling her to speak with her personally, her tone and answers may give you some clue and you may find your answer and the root of the miscommunication may be resolved:)
Balzac Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 I think you should have phoned her. Did you consider phoning?
nessaaa Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 usually when I stop talking to a guy it's becuase someone else has my attention. maybe she's more interested in someone else.
