it might seem like a sexist question, but I just wonder if it's a common thing for women in non-serious relationships to cheat.

There's this girl I work with, I know this is how pretty much every thread of mine starts on this site, a girl at work. Just like every other story, we flirt a lot, I'm just a very flirty guy I guess. Anyway, it's all nice and playful, I can't remember exactly what I said to lead up to this response, but she told me that what her boyfriend doesn't know, can't hurt him.

Yeah, obviously we're just joking around. Yeah...somehow I'm beginning to doubt that, I'm getting this familiar vibe from her. The same vibe I got from this other girl at work I ended up having sex with a few times.

The other girl I slept with, she was in a relationship too. I didn't feel bad about it since her boyfriend was more than aware of her promiscuous past, since she even cheated on her past boyfriend with the current one long before they started dating. This time around, I'm not sure about it, would probably be a real dick move to sleep with her. I would also feel like a massive hypocrite.

I would be a hypocrite because I was so judgmental towards another girl I used to work with whom I was deeply infatuated with. She had a thing for married men and had no qualms over shagging them relentlessly, even with their young children at home. She was always so open about this, and I always hated her for it. Then I would love her, then hate her, love, hate, love, love, hate....

This is where the topic question comes in, I haven't had a lot of experience socializing with many women outside of my workplace, and outside of other relationship prospects. It just seems that almost every single girl in my workplace condones cheating. I shagged the loose girl at work, another one potentially wants to shag me as well, and the one that shags married men, well everybody seemed to be cool about that. It wasn't just that people respected her right to live what kind of life she wants, it was almost like some big joke at work, oh that Nicole and her married men, so funny.

Also about the current situation, am I still a massive dick if she's the one who makes the first move? Or am I just less of a dick, but still a dick for letting it happen?

Do you want encouragement? Do whatever you want. It's your life, you have to life with the decisions you make.

It doesn't really make it better if you don't initiate it. But maybe she's the right women for a few weeks, just don't get too attached. Only you know.

Thread title doesn't seem to represent the thread itself.

To answer the title, yes ... i have seen a few cases where the group of female friends apply a double standard. She cheated, they cover or say it was a mistake.

He cheated, take his kid/house ... everything.

Usually the group of single female friends who are somewhat party animals/promiscous ... avoid these like the plague.

To answer your post, your rationalization is awesome.

Cheating is cheating, you were a homewrecking hussy with both the first girl and you are with the 2nd girl too [because you are flirting].

why flirt with people who are in relationships? Yes, their relationship obviously is not that great if they feel the need to flirt and cheat; they are going to flirt and eventually cheat with another man, so why not you?

Well, it is called integrity. I advise you get some. Moreover - there are plenty of SINGLE women out there, who you can flirt with.
