I dont understand how thats so but this is what I was told last night after I met a sexy but sleazy woman at a local honkytonk in the village. we had a few drinks, flirted, then I took her home. I only do this after long stress fulled days at work since going trade for 3 different funeral homes. its alot of work but it pays well but along with that comes drinking problems which I admit I have. and along with that comes tawdry women. but a woman in one of the places I work said she thought I was a good guy but now I'm a lowlife because I didnt refuse sex from aggressive women? why would this matter when I'm single?

Nowhere in his post he mentioned the woman said that. He also used the words tawdry and sleazy to describe the woman and even if the other woman called her a skank, he didn't disagree.

Why do funeral directors and such drink so much? I know one who owns 4 funeral homes and he is an alcoholic. My parents had a friend who owned a funeral home and he drank alot as well. How depressing. I don't know if there were sleazy women involved too.

OP, its best to keep your opionions to yourself + close friend, its really not good form to talk down the people you get initimate with, because by association many people will consider it does say something about you. Having sex with someone for an hour and having a relationship are two different degrees to which I believe it could say something about a person though. Lots of guys will lower their standards when it comes to nookie. (to different degrees of course).

I know a lot of women over the years who have labeled their exs's: losers, arseholes, jerks, deadbeats, users etc, and these women bent over backwards and forwards to please these guys, it wasnt just a one night thing like it is for the OP (and other guys), and I'm sure these women certainly would not like to consider themselves the equivalent.

Maybe you need to read the original post again, because OP did talk down about the woman he was with. Its really bad form to bad mouth for a person to bad mouth someone they slept with. By sleeping with them they cannot deem themselves as better than the other person. OP needs to learn that you dont talk about stuff like this at work. It just looks very unbecoming of a person.

I've noticed more often than not, that when women refer to other women as 'skanks, low quality ', etc they're either:

1. Jealous of said woman because she gets more action than them or

2. Very 'skanky' themselves and make themselves feel better by taking cheap shots at said woman.

Often it can be both.

The thing is Kaylan, when it comes to ONS, unless you have seen the guy/girl at the venue before numerous times you will have no idea of their past exploits. I realise this is part of factor why you dont do ONS. On LS a number of people here would rather let skeletons stay in the closet when it comes to their new partners and not discuss their past sex exploits with them, in case they discover something that puts them off.

 

What counts here more for being judged a low class person..

That's not how I read OP. He put "skank" in parentheses in the thread title, and then used other words, "tawdry," "aggressive," "sleazy," in an effort to describe "loose" women who frequent bars and hook up randomly, just as there are "tawdry," "aggressive," "sleazy men who do the same thing. OP makes a point that he does this himself infrequently, but there are women and men in most every bar out there who do it every night. The whole point of the post is that he doesn't agree with the woman's assessment of "skank" or with her attitude that he is now a skank for sleeping with that type of woman from time to time.

 

So no, I don't think she is following OP's example, but rather making a judgment about OP and the women in question that OP obviously wonders at and disagrees with.

 

So the question becomes, why do posters in this thread rush to blameshift onto the guy who posts and blindly defend some unknown woman who was the source of the attitude?
