Women will choose "ugly" guys with bad personalities over hot guys with good personalities. (The whole "women only like jerks!" stereotype thing.) Ya see plenty of threads about it here... "she choose the drug dealer/unemployed/mean guy, and he's not even attractive!" I've also noted that how a girl reacts to a guy will depend on, for lack of a better explanation, tides of the moon. I've seen girls be really into a guy one night, and then the next night couldn't care less about him. The only consistance I've seen with girls is that they will choose the guy with charisma (sometimes known as confidence, but more a social intelligence) over anything else, anytime. Charisma does not necessarily mean a good personality... but guys who have a certain energy about them are always attractive, regardless of looks or values or anything else. Even the scientific studies they've done on women show a weird jump-all-over-the-map thing. They don't find a lot of consistency: though a big one I read recently found that if women find a guy is taken, he immediately becomes more attractive to the majority of them. So, that stereotype does appear to be pretty much true (though not universal.) *Shrugs* What can I say, males as a whole have a lot more scientific consistency than women do. That isn't to say women aren't consistant in something, just that science can't nail down exactly what it is yet. Yes, women are weird, lol. Definitely can't disagree with you there. When you say you're getting no attention, does it mean no one is looking at you at all? Not even a bit? I really think you're sexier than you think (my opinion doesn't count), but I know that's not enough to change your situation. So, when you were on the dating site, no one visited/messaged you?

Males DO show a marked preference for a certain body type, there is a preference as far as race goes (Caucasian males, and Asian females, are the most desirable), etc. I'm proving my side. Where is your data? Or are you just arguing your own personal experience over my personal experience? I mean, if you say I'm wrong despite my personal experiences, then how can you prove you're right with your personal experiences? Scientific data, honestly like I said before data collected from a small group of people doesn't make that the universal consensus of the men in the entire world. I mean a hip to waist ratio or symmetry doesn't even support a universal ideal of beauty. People like members of the opposite sex of different sizes, shapes, races, etc. It all boils down to what you are into and the fact that dating and attraction is individualized. Why would I want to use science to justify an individual's dating preference? Why would you use it to cast the blame on men for your lack of success in dating? Anyone if after a certain point you are not successful then its time to look at YOURSELF and your role in the equation.

I think that is was a lot of the people here are trying to say but it falls on deaf ears. I know there is someone out there checking her out and nervous as hell to step to her.
