Tracy21 Posted June 25, 2004 Posted June 25, 2004 After being on no contact for 14 days...I broke it! I feel horrible I was strong in the beginning but I got weaker and weaker. I called and said I just called to say "hi" and the conversation went pretty well. I was calm and cool, I acted as though I was fine. We spoke for about 8 minutes, then I said I had to go. What do I do now??!! I called not to talk to him but unfortunately he picked up the phone!! I am feeling down but I think I can get through this..besides he is leaving in about a month..that will be better for me. I will tell him then that I don't think we can be friends..that the only way to move on for me is if I let him go. What do I do now!!???
uriel Posted June 25, 2004 Posted June 25, 2004 Don't contact him . That's what you should do, no matter whether you slip or not. You don't need to tell him you don't want to be friends again, either. Just don't contact him. If he contacts you, then you can say it. If, during your last contact, he didn't confess his undying love and ask to get back together, you can guess it was just a friendly chat for him too -- one that let him know you're completely not over him. Ah well. You're human. We've all done it. Just remember there's no way to keep it cool when contacting an ex. When you mean contact, it only means one thing -- and they know it. -- uriel
