lostmamba Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 I met this girl in my class and last week I asked her to grab a bite at night after we were done with finals, which she gladly agreed. So today after we left the library at 4am preparing for our final, I asked her when she was available to go out, she said that she will not be able to tonight since she wanted to sleep right after she got off work. But she said maybe (sounded like she wasn't sure)Thursday instead. Now should I take that as a sign that she's not interested/a rejection and just move on? If I do not take it as a rejection, what are the rules regarding rescheduling our dinner? Is she in charge of contacting me on Thursday to confirm her availability or am I in charge of contacting her on Thursday to see what's up?
january2011 Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 Call her and ask her if she's still free to grab a bite to eat. If yes, make the arrangements. If she says no and her excuse seems 'weak' to you, I suspect that she's not interested in spending any extra alone time with you. In which case, I'd move on.
