xxSRMxx Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 It did kind of give me a glimmer of hope though...and the realisation that my situation is not life threatening. A girl i know fell in love with a guy, madly...they moved in together and she got pregnant and had his baby Two days after the baby was born her partner suddenly died. Im not very close to her but i did see some things she wrote on facebook and obviously i felt for her, how dreadful it must have been. She had her profile picture of him and her since he has died, its been a year since he died and today she changed it to one of herself, her mother commented it saying glad you have changed your profile picture, n then they had a little conversation on the photo about how she needs to move on now and get back to herself and that she is lucky to have the children etc and cant wait to get back to her normal self more. I really felt for her. It also made me look at my life and the wonderful things I have, I have good friends, family, im going on holiday soon and the worlds pretty much my oyster. Need to end the pity party.
CopingGal Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 Yes, I think we all should remind ourselves of the good things we have it life, especially when dealing with a death of a loved one or even a break-up.
