mfs976 Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 Whats up, whats up! Yes! Positive energy! Feeling good! I just want to say firstly hello to everyone on LS...it's been a while since I've logged on and I actually laughed at how stupid and irrelevant (now) my old posts were on here.. Ok, here is my latest situation.... I'm not sure if any of you have heard about sensory deprivation before, also known as 'flotation therapy' but basically what it is, is you float in a tank containing 800lbs of Epsom salt water that is the same temp as your external body temp, its soundproof, and you can't see anything when your inside - depriving you of all external environmental stimuli..its just you and your thoughts and your body is simply not invited...it promotes theta brainwaves and deep deep meditation... It's the most crazy, introspective, enlightening experience I've probably ever had. I've been meditating consistently ever since. That however, is an ENTIRELY different story that I could talk about for hours... Anyway back to the point...last month is when I found this place (through floatfinder.com) so I made an appt on my day off and drove about 30 mins to get there. When I walked in I was taken aback by this amazingly gorgeous women who greeted me upon my arrival. There was an instant undeniable connection and we were both aware that the other person was feeling it. I could barely hold my composure or speak to her and that doesn't usually happen with me. She went over the standard operating procedure with me on how the tank works, what to do before and after getting in and out etc, etc..(again the actual experience inside the tank is a story unto itself, if you want to know more just google or youtube sensory deprivation). So after my experience I got out, took a shower and talked to this girl for about 30 mins about what happened to me. I really connected with her on a totally different level that is still indescribable. Anyway I booked another appt with her after chatting and left.. A couple days later I get an email with her personal phone number in it to "make booking appointments more convenient" so I went a head and entered it into my phones contact list.. I went back to float a second time, and to make a long story short ever since I left that last time we've been in constant communication..here's the issue though - she's trapped in a stagnant marriage full of resent, and she has a kid.. She blocked off all her late appts on MY days off so I could come in and get a "massage". The thing is - I have morals and principles that i need to adhere to. I don't condone cheating not only because it's wrong but because I've messed around with girls that were temporarily broken up with their fiance's and got in some **** for it. Also last summer my friend wanted to sleep with me who's married and I had to deny her as well...I dunno, I'm really really into her despite the marriage/kid thing and she wants to be passionately close to someone again. She told me she hasn't felt this way in years over someone. In a world were serial monogamy is all we have left, I don't expect her to be with her husband forever. She just doesn't have the balls to pull the band-aid at this point. And even if she did and we did end up together, as a man, you can NEVER fear losing a women because it WILL happen...we live in a throw-away society, and I'm ok with that. But damn I'd love to date her and spend as much time as I can with her. She is totally down regardless of her husband but like I said. I'm not cool with that....sooooo, yeah any advice?
Alexanda Posted May 25, 2012 Posted May 25, 2012 Don't set aside your morals to be with a woman you are a highly attracted to. Besides experience has shown you its not a good idea. If she doesn't have the guts to break it off with her husband then thats her problem.
FitChick Posted May 25, 2012 Posted May 25, 2012 She is probably married to a rich, unattractive man and cheats on the side.
dasein Posted May 25, 2012 Posted May 25, 2012 You don't know -anything- for real about this woman, she could be using the tank front to run a "rub n tug" for all you know, and uses the same line on all the "clients." It could even be worse, you could be in mid happy ending and in rushes the jealous husband threatening to kill you. They take you to an ATM, clean you out up to your max anyway, and off you go ripped off. It's called a "hot bed" scam and is old as the hills. Open your eyes man!
