Guest Posted June 25, 2004 Posted June 25, 2004 I've been talking to this girl back and forth for a few weeks now that I'd really like to go on some dates with. It all started a few weeks ago with her getting my number from a mutual friend of hers and calling me to hangout one night. We've talked a few times since then on the phone, just like 5 minute conversations, they've always seemed to be flowing pretty well and she has seemed genuinely interested, or just extremely nice. Anyway.......we hungout the other night and I talked about hanging out a few days down the road, she said well why not tomorrow also?? Well we were gonna hangout outside by the lake and it ended up raining and after talking to her that morning we left it like if you get home from work and want to go and it's nice out, give me a call. Well she didn't call.......but it was also pouring down rain....... So that was weds. I haven't talked to her since. I was going to call her up later today and ask if she'd like to grab some dinner tomorrrow(saturday night) but the whole her not calling thing bothers me. I don't know if it's because she doesn't want to see me(although the previous conversations the last week would tell me otherwise) or she's just waiting for me to call and ask her to do something....... I was hoping for some insight from some girls if they've been in a similar situation. I don't want to ruin a new fun friendship by trying to get too much out of it, but the girl probably will be moving in a few months and I don't have all the time in the world here. Thanks!
undecided Posted June 25, 2004 Posted June 25, 2004 i say yeah call her, but make it short. maybe send her a text message to open the possiblity for plans even. maybe she got home from work and had a rough day and just went to sleep because it was raining and you related the desire to communicating for doing somthing dependdent on the weather. maybe leave her a message or a short conversatino of how her day was, let her know you want to spend time to talk, and to call you later if she wants to and has time to do somthing.
