hoperussell Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 Okay so i suffer from Pure O with is a form of OCD which focuses on obsessive thoughts. Well recently i was on a night out with a friend who actually has the same condition and when we got back to hers, i was staying over, we were just in bed talking and its happened before where i get intrusive thoughts like 'oh i really want to kiss her' or 'i wish she'd kiss me'. I then wake up in the morning and i torment myself over cause its like i was willing to cheat on my boyfriend. I really don't understand what these thoughts mean. When i wake up i'm like thank god nothing happened because when sober i would never want it to. When i did keep getting these intrusive thoughts i'd like start to argue you with myself and say 'no you don't want that' but then i'd think 'yeah you do'. I just don't know if this is normal cause i feel so guilty.
Oxy Moronovich Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 Most females are bi-sexual, it's normal. This is a fact. Finding a woman whose not bisexual is like finding a store that sells mainly or only vinyl records. Yeah, they exist, but they're pretty damn hard to find. 1

kaylan Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 ^^lmao not this "all women are bisexual" crap again. Anyways, Op...maybe experiment and just be honest with your partner about what you are feeling?

Yeah, they exist, but they're pretty damn hard to find. Every girl who has ever thought at one point 'gee, i wonder how much attention would a girl give to my genitalia ... my bf doesn't seem to enjoy going down on me' thinks she is bisexual. Bisexuality [ability to love a person of your own gender as well as the opposite one] is confused with the ability to have sex.

He will hopefully understand that maybe it's just the OCD part of you causing you to have these thoughts or maybe you really are attracted to her. Being honest with him though will keep you from feeling guilty.

English definitions say a bisexual was someone who was sexually attracted to both sexes. There's nothing about love. Just sex.

Hello, I'm your friendly vinyl-records-only store Manager. I'm also pretty sure this forum is absolutely full of vinyl-records-only store Managers, and in fact, i would go so far as to say they're the majority. Many men love anal sex, but aren't gay.... Men tend to label women as bisexual, particularly if they're deficient in being able to satisfy them. Of course it can't be 'you', it has to be them.... Perish the thought that a guy couldn't find a woman devoted to them alone, but needs the skilful, attentive and considerate ministrations, only another woman is capable of providing.... 1

With women the bisexuality is more blatant and...ludicrous. I've never heard of a guy say he gets the hots for another guy when he's drunk. But on LS alone I've read female posters say this a crapload of times. In public I've heard this even more. I went to at least a dozen high school graduation parties and at everyone of them there were women making out, both before and after drinking. I never saw two guys going at it at any grad party. Lesbians have even told me that 9 times outta 10 when lesbians cheat on their partner, it's with a guy. That's why lesbians are wary of bisexual women. I've never heard such a thing with gay dudes. Nope. Female bisexuality is way more rampant and widespread it's ridiculous to deny it's bigger amongst women. They use every excuse in the book for getting with a chick: I got drunk; I was curious; I was lonely; I wanted to turn my boyfriend on; etc.
january2011 Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 a dozen high school graduation parties Maybe it's a generational thing or a location thing. Even in the depths of despair and aching loneliness, I never considered sleeping with another woman. After my last breakup, I was staying over with a lesbian friend after a party and she asked me if I wanted to share her bed, but I declined and slept on the floor.

Its just not openly talked about much because straight men control whats seen as socially acceptable or attractive in greater society. Being someone who used to be in the hardcore scene, I can tell you some of the dudes in that scene are curious, actually bi, or fake bi just to get the chicks hot. I wouldnt be surprised if plenty of dudes were on the low. If being gay ever comes close to being as socially accepted as being lesbian, than youll see more dudes coming out the wood work and acting out in public just like women. Either way, at the end of the day, plenty of women, and most of them, are straight.
Alma Mobley Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 . I went to at least a dozen high school graduation parties and at everyone of them there were women making out, both before and after drinking. Oxy has been to at least a dozen high-school parties and women were ... well, they were KISSING! That means we girls are all bisexual! Too bad for all you ladies who like guys! Girls kiss each other! We are ALL bisexual and want to make sweet, sweet love to other girls! Get to it, you so-called het-ladies. You know you are lying to your own selves!
SJC2008 Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 The thoughts bother you because you have pure o. You didn't kiss her though so I wouldn't worry about it. Do you think men who aren't single don't get a thought or two of what they would do with that bombshell they just seen walking down the street? Don't worry about it.
kaylan Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 (edited) Maybe it's a generational thing or a location thing. Even in the depths of despair and aching loneliness, I never considered sleeping with another woman. After my last breakup, I was staying over with a lesbian friend after a party and she asked me if I wanted to share her bed, but I declined and slept on the floor. I agree with january about this being a generational thing. Consider how many women back in the 80s were just as homophobic as guys were when it came to lesbians. It wasnt until society became accepting of LGBT (more so for lesbians) that we noticed more of these folks. Nurture shapes us as much as nature...and I think the reason we see more LGBT in todays generation is partly because more people feel comfortable being open about it and sharing who they truly are, and also because more people are experimenting when in the past they would have never been exposed to lgbt things and would tend to live straight. Those two things increases the numbers of things we see greatly. Edited May 22, 2012 by kaylan

Feelin Frisky Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 This seems to have nothing to do with OCD and one should not self-diagnose one's self and apply such labels without consultation of a mental health practitioner. If you are sexually conflicted when you are drinking and staying at another woman's place and find yourself having attractions, that is not OCD. OCD is a behavioral problem caused by a chemical component plus a phobia. That is not applicable to this sexual scenario. I recommend counselling at least because of your sexual identity issues where they will probably want you to try to figure yourself out without self-medicating with alcohol. You need to be "straight" with yourself to find out if you're bi, gay or w/e (and even at that you may not know until you've lived a long time and seen what and whom you've acted on or not). 1
HallowedBeThyName Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 girl on girl sex is so hotttt More women should be bisexual
Alma Mobley Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 Not of they are FAT and busted looking like every female poster here, accept FrustratedStandards I always got the impression that the LS ladies, in general, were quite slim. Maybe you should tell FS aout your crush on her?
FrustratedStandards Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 OCD is a big problem, and I can relate. If this is what's going on, you should seek therapy. I know you hate to hear it, because at the end of the day, what does a "normal" therapist know anyway? It doesn't hurt to try. And if you know this is how you get when you drink, then don't let yourself drink that much. You can't blame alcohol all the time. If this is what alcohol does to you, then you only provoke it more every time you drink.
Radu Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 Bisexual must be defined differently in Romanian. English definitions say a bisexual was someone who was sexually attracted to both sexes. There's nothing about love. Just sex. No need to poke fun at my nationality. The key is sexually attracted. Are you constant sexually attracted to those of that gender ? Or is it just a crush that you have at one point to someone of your own gender. Also, when it comes to definitions of words used in language, sexuality is far ahead of the dictionaries. Hell, Australians believe that female ejaculation doesn't exist and clasify it as peeing.

Alma Mobley Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 Sorry Oxy.†hat the majority of the population doesn't conform to your fantasies. Must be frustrating. I mean, those pillow fights we girls have aren't sexual, I promise!
