Coffee20 Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 I have been trying to move on. Focusing on myself every day, going out with my friends and trying to learn for my exams. Still I feel like he took something away from me. Like my personality is sick. I remember how he despised all my hobbies, had found them boring so I tried to do his activities and was really interested in them? Though this doesn't feel like me anymore. Like I am a different person and I can't recognize myself well? I don't know how to describe it, but do anyone from you experience this feeling too?
DuchessKaye Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 Coffee, just give it a time. Things will be different eventually and whatever it is that you're going through, it will be over soon enough 1
Author Coffee20 Posted May 22, 2012 Author Posted May 22, 2012 I hope it will be away soon, cause sometimes I feel like things are better next day I am in pain again :/
d'Arthez Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 Remember, life does not progress on a linear path. Perhaps it is fairer to compare it with moving along a spiral. Sometimes you are going ahead, but at the same time, you can be closer to where you were for a few moments days or weeks before. Just keep going on, and you'll eventually overcome these struggles. 1
MadSworthy Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 I'm sorry about your lost Coffee, I hope you feel a little better and maybe it's hard to say, but the only way to feel a little better is to feel first the pain of this lost. Some pain will always be there, but it does get less and less. And there will be more moments you laugh about the good moments and memories. Good luck and wish you the best! 1
january2011 Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 As hopeless as it might feel, what you might not realise is that you have a brilliant and exciting opportunity to wipe the slate clean. To start again and to get to know yourself. Reacquaint yourself with your old hobbies or find some new ones. This is your chance to get creative with your life. Think of the possibilities! All he took from you was himself and by the sounds of it, he's welcome to himself. You were you before you met him and you'll be you again. 1

To start again sounds good and get some new hobbies. And your last two sentences are very meaningful, thank you again!
