So to all the older women out there, say women in their late 20's and beyond, how many of you have had flings or dated much younger men? I'm seeing an eerie trend of certain women looking for LTR's but who have had flings with guys not much older than they're sons. It's creepy and it's one of the reasons older guy friends go for younger women.

I never understood why it's perfectly okay for 45 year old men to date 21 year old babes but say a 34 year old female dating a 24 year old male is like a crime to humanity

People are free to date whoever they want and there's nothing creepy about it

Late 20s is considered OLDER?:confused::confused:

how many of you have had flings or dated much younger men?

When I was 45, I had a 2 1/2 year relationship with a man who was 35 - does that count?

So? In my case, our ages were entirely irrelevant.

I think your logic is completely screwed up on this accord... How does one relate to the other?

In bold:

....'late 20's and beyond'.....?!

Late 20's is 'older'...?!?

Well in that case, that makes me pre-historic, thanks for that....:mad:

Sorry.

pet pieve.

Had to correct it.

....Call it the 'stickler-for-spelling-and-grammar-grandma' in me. ;)

^ This with the exception of dating minors. Don't understand the double standard either

In the context of these women dating like 18-19 yr olds they are older.

In the midwest US, 28 is looking like 48, soooo ya

No I'm talking about if you were with a 20 yr old.

All that sun.

Moisturise and wear a wide-brimmed hat.

I went one year younger and the clash of worldviews was too much. Don't know if it had anything to do with age though.

pretty sure people don't change their views even in a matter of 4-5 years, much less 1 year. I doubt it had anything to do with age

Well, it really depends on the individual. I still wouldn't go younger again.

Sun? Women in Midwest US do not know sun.

I wouldn't be.

I have found that the women in their 40s who are dating guys young enough to be their sons tend to be on the blunt side of unintelligent; i.e., Not The Sharpest Tools in the Shed.

I'm thinking Jerry Springer kinda dumb...

Please read what you're saying. It's very very unlikely that an individual will have significantly different worldwide views in 1 year, unless they go through some sort of traumatic life event

 Stupid thread is stupid. It's creepy if a woman has it but ok for a man? Times are changing and so are your backwards double standards. Get used to it.

No one has to be reasonable about their dating preferences as long as they understand and accept that their preferences limit their dating pool.

I am perfectly happy with my dating preferences and accept that they limit my dating pool.

You're entitled to your opinion. We don't have to agree. I'm okay with that too.

In that case, it must be the alcohol.....

Or the smoking.

Right. Don't forget the daily trips to the Dairy Queen drive-thru with their little mouse-dog and thumb on the horn.

I'm 35 and had two light involvements with younger guys - one 26, the other 30. The experiences were mostly hot and rewarding for me. And they were in heaven.

Look if you want to exclusively date men that have different colored eyes and bright purple hair, it's none of my business.

The point is that your logic is nonexistent here. The idea that people radically change their life views in 1 year is asinine.

A-ha! Feminism has taken a new form. The old gals will certainly abort if knocked up, poison the minds of our young men with old wives tales, and destroy the libido with wrinkles and stretch marks. Evil! Evil! :p

The difference is also that these women aren't considering these younger guys for anything but short term things. The older guy younger woman pairing often leads to marriage. Big difference.

Yeah that age difference isn't huge imo.

More and more older women do. The ones that don't are afraid of society's judgment.

I prefer younger men or men my age to older ones for sure, for relationship or sex. Not too much younger tho at this stage, maybe when I'm older lol
