SO i went on this date with a Korean guy that i met on a dating site. He was overly sweet and kept sneaking in compliments like when i commented that the river looked pretty at night he said i looked prettier. He also kept holding my hand and wanting to cuddle, saying he was so happy when i cuddled him back. I'm really not used to someone moving so fast. He says his favourite song is It Will Rain by Bruno Mars and his favourite movie is The Notebook which sort of makes me think maybe he is just overly romantic but i just can't be sure if he is only doing these thing to get in my pants (being really close and flattering all the time). He wants to meet up again as much as possible next week which I don't see a problem with other than he hopes i can visit his house on one of the dates....At the end of the date he asked if we could date seriously.

Because he is Korean I'm also unsure of the cultural differences when it comes to dating

It can be hard to tell a guy who is sincere from one who is dishonestly looking to get laid (why not just be honest?) --- as far as I can tell, the best way is simply to not sleep with him. Sincere guys will hold on for a reasonable amount of time; someone looking to get laid will move on to easier targets.

Take your time and only do what you want to do. Don't meet him at his house until he's earned your trust. Let him know that you're not in the market for a fling. And most of all, trust your instincts.

Well..to me he reeks of Bullsheete. I definetly wouldnt go to his house or have him over to yours. If you really want to see him again keep all of your dates out in public until you are sure of his sincerity.
