These 3 fast food places have some of the best addicting food yet. No need to spend tons on fancy restaurant or a darn movie. Buy her and yourself a cheese whopper, large yummy fries and a cold ice tea.

Definitely a McDs that has a ball pit for yourself to play in.

OP is trolling. Don't take her to McD's. It's not about whether or not the food is tasty. A dinner date has almost literally nothing to do with food.

You take her to a place that's "happening" that she's never been to before. Some place crowded where she can be "seen". I don't know why but that's what girls like. The service can suck balls, and the food can be overpriced crap, but if it's packed that's where to go.

Girls go through a lot to get nice looking. Even the hottest chicks doll themselves up for a date. Not just for your benefit, but for hers. To be seen at a cool place... not to impress the 300lb welfare mom with her brood of brats at the Taco Bell.

You get my drift?

Only do the fast food if you want something quick.. i.e. drive through and you don't plan on eating it there. Maybe after a couple rounds of hot love making and you just want to indulge on something quick and cheap. Sharing a nice yummy shake after you've done unthinkable carnal things to each other can be quite nice.

Just my $0.02

Just my $0.02

Does two cents get you anything at those fine dining establishments?

My grandfather bought his first home for $1,200 dollars.

That says a lot for inflation doesn't it? Haha.

Granted, this *really* depends on the person. Some people enjoy the fast food because it's casual and 0-stress. Plus, go lateish and it's practically empty. Yes, I know some women like to dress up for a date, but some do occasionally like to be relaxed on a date for once.

A cheese whopper? Why aren't you ordering from the value menu?? A whopper jr. and a cup of water is the only way to filter out gold diggers.

Here's the real test: sweetened or unsweetened?

I know right! When he old me that I was like, "Really Poppop?"

It is proof though that my grandmother wasn't a gold-digger. So there is that.

A few convenience store frozen burritos and a trip over to Best Buy to watch free movies at the TV display.

If you get a second date outta that one...you've hit the jackpot.

well, you've got to make sure that neither of your stomachs will reject the food from those places ... they've changed up the formulas to a point where it's like a toxic bomb to my tummy.

that said, if you're very, very lucky and live some place that's loaded with mom & pop eateries, and she likes them, you can eat really cheap. My favorite is the taqueria near my hometown that serves big-ass breakfast tacos all day long for about $1.50. When my daddy was still living down there, we'd go there for breakfast, each get a taco and a drink, and it was only like $7 for the both of us!

*sigh* I miss South Texas ....

From your moderator:

To those who like reporting this thread starter and/or their posts, make sure there is really something violation-worthy to report. This thread topic is not amongst them. The closest guideline is inciting an emotional reaction in fellow members and suggesting fast food for a date is something often done here on LS, and evidently successfully (successful dates), if member accounts reflect real life. Also, I'll insert a gentle reminder to cease and desist from publicly calling fellow members or their postings 'trolls'. Definitely do use that word in alerts and let your moderators make the public call. I'm calling this one (see above). Carry on.

What if your date is vegan?

Oh, well if this is a valid topic...

I think it'll take a special guy to get away with it, or a special girl to put up with it, but there are options that are both better and cheaper if you look around.

Order the McNuggets. I'm convinced there is nothing meat-related in those

This is probably a good idea; if fast food is what you like to eat, you'll want to date people who enjoy it as well. A fine compatibility test.

I don't eat at fast food chains personally. I try to be as "locavore" as (reasonably easily) possible and to eat animal products that have been humanely produced. The food in those places comes from nowhere near me.

Compared to when I was a youth taking young ladies to 'the drive in' burger joint and, later, some of the fast food joints described in the OP, today's options in the fast food realm range far and wide as to price, nutrition and healthiness. There are even menu items for vegans and vegetarians. Nutritional data can be found on the company's web sites (I just looked).

While I would much rather take a first date to a local 'dive' where the grill is older than myself and we own the table for the night if we want, commercial fast food can still be a viable, economical, and healthy alternative. It's all about choice.

Take your date to Arby's.

I'm guessing you never had a "2nd" date in your life...right OP? ;)

BK at least has a veggie burger.

Considering the quality of food at these joints, I'd refuse to have a bite there in the first place. My stomach would sue me - and win - if I did not adhere to that policy.

Depending on where you live, you are better off going to a small family business. Tend to be cheap and offer extremely good value for their buck.

Besides rarely to never eating at places like those anyway, there are so many better/choices for sit-in/waited on places that are not really all that expensive.

I don't equat "addicting food" with good food. Crack cocain is also addicting, but it'll ruin your life. Just like fast food. Get addicted to that crap and you'll be sporting a triple chin in no time. If you find girls with triple chins, tipping in on the scales at 170+ pounds attractive enough, shouldn't be a problem I guess.

There's a Thai restaurant down the road from me that is very nice looking and cost @$8 per person (before drinks and tip) on the low end. There are several nice family Mexican restarants around me that are also in that price range. Hawaian Bar-B-Que, Italian pasta places, cool cafeteria eateries, dedicated salad places and a ton more. Places that are just very nice for the location to sit at and talk, where I just buy a couple drinks and we share an appetizer. You can do $20 dates easy without going to fastfood. Also, it is not so much about the food.

OP, you sound like you're at war with women. I can't imagine you've had a date, let alone a second date.

My thoughts exactly. I never understood the McD popularity. It's not THAT cheap - most Asian places have much better food for the same price and don't feel so.. tacky. They're also way healthier. Sure it's convenient if you want a drive-through, but that really isn't what dates are supposed to be about, is it?

Oh wait.

Here's a novel suggestion for the OP: Cook a meal for her. Not only will most decent women be blown away, but it costs LESS than McDs! What a saver. ;)
