mattpurves Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 Hi, 2 months ago I finished with my ex and when I was with my ex we used to go to pub quizzes and her work mate fancied me as I was told on several accasions by 2 people and it was really noticable by myself and friends as when I showed up at the quizzes with my ex, shed wave to me as I was walking into the pub and smile and make a really big effort to talk to me, even when she was her date herself. Also she didn't know me as I never spent any time with her. The only things is, now I'm single, we were texting and she specifically said btw if we meet up we have to be strictly friends. Im the sort of bloke that's to nice and ends up in the friends zone, when it comes to girls. I've seen her 3 weeks running and I live 30 miles from her and she randomly said im lovely and very charming. I can't really flirt if she's said friends specifically. Plus I slept in the same in bed as her as friends and nothing happened and chatted all night. I do like her and I know she liked me from when I was with my ex. But how do I approach this?????
baguette Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 Well, if you're not willing to risk losing the friendship, I say make a move and go for it! It sounds like she's into you but she might be afraid of hurting your ex's feelings. If they're not all that close, then I don't see why you can't try
