Falcon25 Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Came back, wanted to work on things. Three weeks ago, i said a couple things when I was drunk, she was hurt and upset. She didn't talk to me at all. I apologized, she never got over it. I seriously didn't mean it that way. Tonight, I get the 'I don't wan't a boyfriend right now. I still have feelings, I still miss you, just don't want the committment'. She says she is unhappy with her life. I ask her and she tells me my words were not what messed everything up. I doubt it, she used it as ammo for her exit strategy. It's been a rollercoaster ride. I'm tired. I can't do it anymore. How one person can want to work on things one week, and then with two little stupid comments (which were unintentional) not want anything to do with the relationship, is beyond me.
Nohbody Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 Sounds like she came back out of guilt, not out of any real feelings for you. Your slip up gave her the excuse she needed to leave again. Don't feel bad, it isn't really your fault. She would have left you again under any pretext.
