I'd like to politely turn him down. I'm afraid if I go with "Hi, you're cute, but no offense you're too young for me" that opens the door for responses such as "Who cares, let's hang out anyway." I don't think I'm against dating much younger men, I know I'm only 7/8 years older than him, but it's the fact that he's 21 and I'm 27.. if I were 35 and he were 27 I think it would be different. So what should I say to him?

mortensorchid Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 If you feel he is too young for you, just say "Thanks but no thanks. I think you are too young for me." If he gets angry and writes you something to the affect, you should just block him. I've had that happen before myself, it's not worth the potential abuse you may experience.
