irc333 Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 Here's a video, apparently going viral of a guy with his g/f at a base ball game Apparently, she said that he was suppose to snag the ball as it was coming to her, and he actually runs away, and lets her get hit with the ball. You have to fast fward to the end of it....but the *ick is wearing his hat backwards, the frat douche' look. I have seen cases in senarios, where these men treat their g/f's like crap. Like if she gets hurt, she laughs at her accident instead of running over to help her up. Is this the example of the "bad boy" attraction? If a man did the gentlemanly thing, he'd be considered some kind of door mat?

ThaWholigan Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 Where did you get "bad boy" from this video? His hat??? He looks embarrassed to me. A bad boy would have caught it 3
xxoo Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 A bad boy would have caught it A bad boy would have knocked her out of the way to catch it 4
Feelsgoodman Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 I don't see why everyone is giving this guy a hard time. He did what most people would instinctually do in that situation - avoid getting hit by the ball. Why is he supposed to put himself in harm's way to "protect" that dumb blonde? He's not a human shield and she's not the president. 2
grkBoy Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 Yeah...and guess what? She'll go home, bang him, give him head, let him go anal on her, and then lick her s#!t off his manhood. She'll make him a sandwich and then in the morning make him breakfast in a French maid outfit. IF he ends up dumping her at some point, she'll still be in online dating and meetups passing up "normal" guys so she can find another one just like him. Why am I sounding mean and ridiculous? Because I think this topic is ridiculous. I see him ducking out of the way and the ball hits her arm. I see him acting embarrassed and her giving him some sarcastic flack over it...but not necessarily angry at him. She would have got up and left if she was angry. We don't know what happened, and even when I see the footage it looks like he dived out because it looked like it was only going to hit him. Did he make himself look bad on TV? Yes Was he a jerk/bad boy? Don't really know...but it doesn't look like it based only on that. IRC333, this topic IMHO makes me think you're probably frustrated about your own dating situation, and you're looking for anything to latch on to to toss that angst at. It's ok to be frustrated, but find a real example of a woman putting up with a jerk. Don't assume a "frat boy" looking guy is immediate some douchebag and the girl's friends are probably telling her like crazy that she could do better. 5
Author irc333 Posted May 14, 2012 Author Posted May 14, 2012 Well, maybe this video wasn't a GOOD example, but just something that popped up at the spur of the moment. But I have has seen jerk boyfriends act quite the fool in public. Like burping loudly in a public restaurant, thinking it's cute....while others think (poor girl). Or talking in vulgar talk among mixed company. While she's acting like a lady
Oxy Moronovich Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 Of course many women are into jerks and *******s. But why do you expect women to admit this? Do you truly expect women to say, "I love a man who acts ill-bred and treats me like garbage?" Of course not. It makes them look bad. So a woman who goes for those types will obviously say the exact opposite. Like I said in another thread, stop taking women at face value and you'll understand them more.

I talk vulgar in mixed company (not around kids, rarely around my mom, but often around my dad ) Does that mean I'm a bad partner?
grkBoy Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 It's unfortunate for many of the more bland/tame guys...but women want excitement and hormonal vibes of joy from a guy. It's why many will take someone with a risky life over the "safe choice". I'm sorry to be blunt, but work out and build a more athletic tone. Push the move to be more in fashion over "dressing comfy" (you already started...keep it up). Go out to bar/drinking/douchey/juvenile things or do rock climbing and athletic stuff women droll over. Work harder and build the power career women drool over. Practically every woman I know now would rather die alone and/or get artificially inseminated for children before they marry or date some guy that doesn't set their panties on fire. We can lament on how unfair or unrealistic it is, but this is life. Women have education, careers, money, etc. They can walk into a sperm bank and have kids without a husband. The only time they bring men into their lives is when it fulfills their emotional/hormonal needs. 4
Author irc333 Posted May 14, 2012 Author Posted May 14, 2012 If it happens out in public, it' s best just to wait until the boyfriend is out of earshot and say something to her about his behavior....and also question "What do you see in THAT guy?" lol Of course many women are into jerks and *******s. carhill Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 From long life experience, it's healthier to just avoid women who appear to 'be into' bad boys. They won't notice such avoidance. Win-win 2
Oxy Moronovich Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 Practically every woman I know now would rather die alone and/or get artificially inseminated for children before they marry or date some guy that doesn't set their panties on fire. You must not know that many women then. Women hate to be alone. That's a fact. That's why a woman would rather be in a boring marriage than lonely. In Australia, for example, women are choosing to stay in unhappy marriages rather than being lonely: Australia: Older women urged to become lesbians Mr Carney said that despite the encouragement for women to "explore other options", married and miserable was still better than alone and free, unless there was abuse. If a woman can't find a human relationship to sooth her loneliness then she'll choose animals. That's why there are so many crazy cat ladies but so few crazy cat men.

Mme. Chaucer Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 Some women like "bad boys." Some men like bad girls, too. Isn't is great that there are people who like all different types of other people? I don't think this video proves anything, though. 2
SteveC80 Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 I dont know if its a bad boy thign per se but women do like to be dominated by a superior man Look at the book 50 shades of grey that women eat up as a fantasy That will show you how much women want to be controlled and dominated deep down
SJC2008 Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 I can't see the vid buy I'm sure it's the one from the Houston Astros. HE IS NOT A BAD BOY. They interviewed the couple afterward and the reporter teased him and he was embarrassed. He's an "Every day joe". All due respect, if you think he's a bad boy you've got a lot of work to do!

If a man did the gentlemanly thing, he'd be considered some kind of door mat? Hahhahaa um...this is NOT an example of a "bad boy". This just sounds like he majorly failed a fellow human being. If my date did nothing to help me or at least try to protect me, I would run away as far as I could from HIM. lol.
Christine52 Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 I dont know if its a bad boy thign per se but women do like to be dominated by a superior man Look at the book 50 shades of grey that women eat up as a fantasy That will show you how much women want to be controlled and dominated deep down UHHHH. No. This has nothing to do with dominance by a superior man. It's whether the man is MAN enough, to be a man, and catch the damn baseball, and keep his lady from harm. If he fails at that, no matter how "dominant" he is, he will never really have her heart.

I was referring to the book, i think the op used an awful example If he thinks having a hat backwards means the guy is a bad boy he must be a pretty sheltered human being
Eddie Edirol Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 If it happens out in public, it' s best just to wait until the boyfriend is out of earshot and say something to her about his behavior....and also question "What do you see in THAT guy?" lol Nope, guys that are secure in themselves do not walk up to women with boyfriends and talk bad about her boyfriends. Additionally, waiting till the boyfriend to talk about him is even more cowardly. AND, trying to convince a woman who is into her bad boy that she shouldnt be with him would only draw her closer to him. Have you not done any research at all?
serial muse Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 if his reaction made him a 'bad boy' then what you think is the exact opposite of what happened because she ended up breaking up with the guy. Haha, Pyro, you're right, I looked that up and she did dump him. But hey, never let data get in the way of a cherished hypothesis. 2
