The other weekend I was out with someone who I determined was a time waster (thanks to observations on this forum as well as my gut instincts). Aside from the fact that he said that he was not Mr. Right (see previous threads for more info on this), he said something that I have heard in the past that made me think some more. He said that women are always the ones that break it off.

This made me think because in my case the opposite has been true. In my case, the man has always been the one to break it off. They come up with some lame excuse as to how and why they are not going to continue things with me because of some issue from the past. The older I get the more I realize this is just foolishness - they say this because they don't want to be with ME (or whoever it is that is before them). Some are losers, some are weak, many are just plain crazy. I was wondering how many have had this same issue? Men, is that true? And women, do you agree / disagree? I wish I had an answer, even if results are truly 50/50 from both genders.

Women end the majority of relationships but there are of course situations where men break it off.
