I'm not sure if I fall into this "bitter" category (probably) but I have often said that there are wonderful people out there. Tons actually, just none of them fit MY needs and wants.

 

That's what LS is for. It's to vent, it's to ask, it's to discuss. Most of the women on this forum don't talk so honestly in real life. This is the place where we go without a filter, and I think that's why you see so much bitterness when really it's just letting off steam.

Have you all accepted that men and women are different and the approaches to dating and relationships are different? I think some understand but don't want to accept it. Hell stop complaining about this and that. You can't make men date like women and women date like men because it won't work. Can you honestly say you will do the things you ask men/women to do? ex. not check out opposite sex out on the street or control your thoughts

Regardless of what some here like to accuse, I don't have a bitter bone in my body and evidently I am not even capable of being bitter. Honestly. Mean, yes; furious, yes; defensive, yes. Bitter - never. I am in too much awe and filled with too much gratitude for this life for that.

 

I love men as much as I love women. Together with the men in my life, we have been able to navigate the bs about being men and women and get through it without getting bogged down in tis quicksand … like many of you here on LS seem to have been.

 

For the record, I have been the victim of serious violence by men. Cheated on, lied to, etc. And had to rebuild my whole life.

Why is there a thread talking about LoveShack members in the dating forum, or at all?

 

Please read the announcement at the top of this forum for a practical application of the community guidelines.

 

Being Irish, I do enjoy seeing a bunch of green on the page, meaning members in our moderation queue awaiting approval of their posts, but I think that's counter-productive to the mission of this site.

 

This thread gave me another practical application to include, that being that threads which discuss other LoveShack members or groups of members are against policy.
