Her job is to oversee the self checkout counters, which is where I always check out my goods. She always walking around the machines, helping people, picking up baskets, etc. The last couple weekends I have went there she has given me the longest most satisfied smiling gaze I've ever experienced from a woman. Like it cut right through me! Not to mention she is quite attractive. So the question is it's probably obviously against company policy to give out her number to a customer while on duty. So how do I go about doing this discreetly and especially when other workers/customers are right in the frey. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

pteromom Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 When you see her getting the carts (I assume that's what you mean by baskets?), take one over to her, then just introduce yourself. That would be a time to talk to her without other employees being around.

This way she won't be put on the spot and if she's interested she will contact you. I wouldn't do this. I know when I was young, I was wayyyy too shy to contact a guy. I would talk to her, and just be casual. "I enjoy talking to you. Would you like to go grab some coffee sometime?" If she says YES, get HER number - or just make a plan right then/there...

The funny thing is its not really her beauty, dont get me wrong she is quite lovely, that is really attracting me but the way she looks and smiles at me there just feels like something is there and I would be a damn fool not to at least take a crack ya know.

Tease her about checking you out.Depending how things are going you can ask her if she has a break coming up or for her number. Definitely take a crack at it. Your odds are pretty good at 50-50 1

Act fast. Women change their minds quickly. That smile she's giving you now can change into a frown the next few times she sees you and you do nothing to escalate things so get going and make a move.

But like I said she is usally busy walking around the checkout area and on the move so its kinda hard to get a one on one. I think I'm gonna buy some produce and pretend I dont know how to check it out cause it doesnt have a bar code and you have to look it up on the computer screen, then she will have to come over and help me. Whaddya think?
