I haven't really talked to her yet because she sits on the other side of the room, but since school is almost done, I'm thinking of just asking her after class or something. I was wondering what exactly to say to her for the first time? Should I introduce myself first, or should I ask her first and then introduce myself if she says yes? If anyone could provide like a sample conversation or something, that would be great. I'm new to the whole dating scene. Best Regards, Robby
Vintage79 Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 Hmmm - I would definitely introduce myself first. Moreover, you need at least a bit of small talk. The, "Hey, I'm John Smith - would join me for coffee" to a complete stranger may come off as a bit odd. Talk for a few minutes about something that's hopefully a mutual interest, tell her you have to leave, but tell her it was great chatting, and see if she wants to continue the conversation for coffee that night/afternoon/whenever. Don't beat around the bush, but if you hunt around on this site, asking strangers out rarely works for a guy...but a shared connection can really help - even if it's just criticism/praise for the class that you share.

However, since next class is our last class, what should I do if I'm not able to sit next to her? Should I try to walk next to her or something after class and start up a small conversation then, or would that be awkward for her?
dasein Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 In your shoes, I would definitely consider trying to find her elsewhere than in the class dynamic, out and about somewhere. Don't stalk, but see where she goes after class. Maybe get her on the way to wherever she is heading. That way you can open with "Hi I'm X, I think we have -class- together." Too many distractions/interruptions can pop up with people going in and out of a class or trying to get close to her there. You want to be more sure you won't get interrupted and be standing/sitting there awkwardly with your dick in your hand.
