So out I am, doing some running which I have been as a pass time since me and my ex broke up...

And who do I run into? Not my ex but the second worst thing.. his mum.

Now, his mum is in no way horrible, I think she is on my side to be honest, but it was just a bit of a shock. She started chatting and all I wanted to do was get away without being rude.

She caught me off guard and when she asked me if I was ok, I guess I had two options. I could either say "Yes, great!" or what I was dying to say - "NO I'M NOT, YOUR SON IS STILL BEING A COMPLETE *******".

Knowing that what you WANT to do is normally not the best thing to do, I did the former. I acted like nothing was wrong, and I was so over the whole thing.

It's got so many questions spinning in my head!

Do you think I did the right thing?

What should I do if I run into her again?

You do nothing. Be yourself and say that everything is dandy. EVERYTHING you say would get back to him and you want to keep your dignity and pride. You did good.

You absolutely did the right thing. You were respectful and acted like a lady. Enough said. :)

Makes sense! Oh well, if the things I said get back to him, she did say since I was working out that my body looked great so.. worse things could get back to him ;) Thank you
