"I LIKE GOING SHOPPING"

WTF does that ever mean? Who doesn't like to go shopping if they have the WIGGLE ROOM in their bank account? Is that a indirect way of saying she wants a guy to spend money on her?

That was something that always sounded stupid to me

I would never put I like shopping in a profile. I would put:

I LOVE SHOPPING!!!!!!!!!!

Like? Pffft. LOVE

Cause I do!

It's fun!

Relax dude!! I don't shop with anyone's money but my own! I talk to my BF all the time about what I bought or what I wanna buy, it's not a "Hint" for him to buy it. It's me making conversation.

It's unnecessary information. That's like me saying one of the things below

1. I love chatting on a internet message board

2. I love recording old tv shows

3. I love listening to jazz on a sunday evening

4. I love watching the office on a thursday night

You see how all of the things I mentioned are things that we would never being doing together? So why mention it in the first place?

I wouldn't think it's weird if someone listed those things.

Dude, it's called sharing things about yourself.

Does it say somewhere on the website: ONLY LIST THINGS YOU WOULD DO WITH YOUR POTENTIAL DATE! or something? No it doesn't. They are listing their hobbies.

Chill out, crazy.

Why wouldn't you listen to jazz on a sunday evening, with a woman? I don't see why you wouldn't put those in your profile, because it tells them more about you and your personality. Unless you're only looking to hook up, but then you could still listen to jazz, or watch The Office with them.

Oops. cross-posted with veggirl. :)

I'm not positive if you're really serious w your threads or if you're trying to be funny in a Three Stooges sort of way.

WTF does that ever mean?

It means that for a social activity, they enjoy just wandering a mall and window shopping. For some guys, they can enjoy that too with their girlfriends; to learn what the girls like for potential presents, to suggest sexy lingerie or playwear at Frederick's of Hollywood, or to meet up with friends at the food court.

It does not have to be an indirect way for guys to spend money on girls. A lot of people like to wander malls.

Who doesn't like to shop if they have Wiggle Room? Me, for example. I'm one of the freakish women in the world that hate shopping and avoid it at all costs. There are a lot of people who shop via the internet just so they can avoid malls and stores.

Seriously, Philly, you need to take a Chill Pill!

Have you been to a mall lately and looked at the demographics of those shopping?

(I haven't 'cuz I hate 'em, but I know my middle-aged friends go all the time and I can't believe they are the only ones...)

These profiles are working. Good for these women that they are screening out guys that would get annoyed by their love of shopping. Better to do it now than to waste a first or second date finding out that the guy considers it a deal breaker that she is passionate about shopping.

PD, why do you care about people that you have nothing in common with??? Just focus on the women that share a compatible lifestyle. Live and let live.
