I'm always the one who wants to hang out with her, no matter how much she says she trys the best to hang out with me.

Every time I try and go out together, she always has an excuse like my mom wont let me (shes 18???), she has to take care of her cousin, she has to study, etc.. its been going on constantly especially the her mom wont let her part and its pissing me off.

The last and final time, after school I made plans to meet up with her and then shes like she has to go to the gym (she would prefer going to the gym instead of being with me)?

all in all I feel like she just does not not try her best to hang out together...

Should I just break up?

Sorry to hear about your situation. It sounds like the relationship is fizzling out anyway, so perhaps there is no need to break up with her? Whatever happens though please don't worry, you sound very young (you said she was 18) so you've got PLENTY of time to meet girls. Good luck!

You need to lay it on the line.

Tell her you wanna be with her, but you can't be #2. Be prepared however, because when I did this, my girl didn't pick me.

BUT, if she's making you #2 for family or school, you just gotta deal with that if you love her. Do not try to guilt her or make her choose between bettering herself and family, and you. That's just scummy.
