mattr89 Posted May 5, 2012 Posted May 5, 2012 Ever since my break up 2 weeks ago I am feeling motivated to get in shape and do better on school work, which is great. But it it normal that I actually work out harder, put a huge effort into school, etc with the mindset that my ex is losing out on me and all i have to offer. Pretty much using her as motivation that "she left a guy that works hard, is gonna be successful, and so on..." I mean it is working for me cause I do better in everything i do now. But is this common? or can this be bad for me to think this way?
Chrisal23 Posted May 5, 2012 Posted May 5, 2012 That's exactly what I'm going through. I would say in a way us since you should be doing it for your own. At the end of the day you will be a better person so it's good. Time will be your friend in this one, and help u heal.
