canoeracer Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 A cute woman messaged me and we have talking back and forth (each about five messages) for the past week. Her answers are typically short (1 to 2 sentences), but she does (sometimes) ask follow up questions. The last message ended like this: Her: Yeah that (thing we were talking about) is really cool. Do you like to play basketball just with your friends or do you play in a league? Me: Typically I just play on the weekends with my friends. It's a great way to get exercise and have fun at the same time! So What kind of work do you do? Her: I am an interior designer Her first reply to my first message was one sentence and didn't have any follow up either. Confused....
TigerCub Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 It sounds like she'll keep talking to you if you keep asking her questions. But, if she was really interested in knowing more about you - she'd ask things and keep the convo going - she's not doing that, so she's most likely not all that interested. Sorry.
Andy_K Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 As a general rule, if I'm messaging a girl online and I get the impression she's not making much of an effort, I'll make sure my next message doesn't ask her any questions. She has the 'easy out' of just not replying without it being rude, but if she still writes back something meaningful, she's likely to be interested
Author canoeracer Posted May 4, 2012 Author Posted May 4, 2012 Thanks guys. I was thinking of responding with "Very cool! That must be rewarding." And leaving it at that.
