Disenchantedly Yours Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 Maybe we are not all fretting and drama about attracting a mate like some other sexes we know. Maybe you're just lazy? 1
wwwjd Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 Maybe you're just lazy? Quite the opposite... we spend an inordinate amount of time just picking hideous attire so you gals will have something to do "fixing" us. Ever seen our GOLF wardrobe?? Meanwhile, somewhere back on topic... Someone really should explain to girls that men are STIMULATED VISUALLY. I thought all the porn and strip clubs were a dead give-a-way, but maybe it really is a news flash. (IE Shorts like panties invites undesired male sexual advancements)
Disenchantedly Yours Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 Someone really should explain to girls that men are STIMULATED VISUALLY. I thought all the porn and strip clubs were a dead give-a-way, but maybe it really is a news flash. (IE Shorts like panties invites undesired male sexual advancements) No one needs to explain to us that men are stimulated visually. Women have heard this argument, and grossly too much with the internet, about men's "visualness". This however does not justify how men choose to conduct themselves in site of whatever visual stimulation they are getting or not getting. How women dress is seperate from how a man conducts himself. She is not to blame for how he acts or reacts. Just as he is not to blame for how she deiced to dress. Sick and tired of men leaning overly heavily on the "we are visually stimulated" tagline. Yes yes..we know men are visually stimulated. It does not impress us. Neither does it do a heck of a lot to really understand men are justify thinge things men do under the idea of "visualness".
wwwjd Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 Should we keep this witty banter going or should we just get a room?
Titania22 Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 Should we keep this witty banter going or should we just get a room? We should get a room. I'm in need for some loving.
Titania22 Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 Someone really should explain to girls that men are STIMULATED VISUALLY. Well women can be visually deSTIMULATED. 1
Titania22 Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 Maybe we are not all fretting and drama about attracting a mate like some other sexes we know. Maybe if men cared a little more about finding a mate it wouldn't be so hard for us girls to find one.
wwwjd Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 We should get a room. I'm in need for some loving. I'll make no guarentees to "quality". However, longevity is no problem
wwwjd Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 Maybe if men cared a little more about finding a mate it wouldn't be so hard for us girls to find one. So, really, crazy, plaid, too long shorts are enough for you to AVOID meeting your potential perfect soul mate? REALLY?
maybealone Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 My winter wardrobe isn't exactly nun-like. Low-cut sweaters, jeans, and boots can be sexy. I like summer clothes too, except that a lot of thin shirts require me to wear boring bras. Ever seen our GOLF wardrobe?? Ha! Actually, some of the best outfits I see on men around here are on the course. Nice pants or shorts and collared t-shirts. Off the course can be another story though...
Ursa Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 I'm extremely fair-skinned and grew up in a marine environment where the summers were cool and foggy. Where I live now, summer is way too hot for me. I'm sweaty, I burn, I get migraines on the really hot days. It feels like the air doesn't move, it's misery...and it's not even that hot compared to much of the rest of the world's hot season . I don't dress up for summer, I just try to survive it with thin clothes, big sunglasses and big hats. If I have too much skin exposed, it burns. In all other seasons, I am more comfortable and I feel much sexier that way. Spring is light and vibrant and calls for jewel-tones, and like some others I probably like dressing for fall and winter best. Like previous posters have mentioned, low-cut sweaters, nice-fitting jeans and good boots, maybe a pretty scarf; these can be cute and sexy too.
Imported Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 I like fall for clothing too January! I like boots and sweaters. I rarely meet a pair of boots I don't like. To answer the Op...um no. I don't wait around for summer to expose more skin to attract a man. I want a man that likes me...for me. Not for what I wear. That's fine, so long as it is not used as an excuse.
Disenchantedly Yours Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 That's fine, so long as it is not used as an excuse. Used as an excuse for what Imported?
ASG Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 I love summer and summer clothes! But the only thing that really changes in my wardrobe are the dresses (don't have a lot of winter ones), as I wear skirts all year round (in winter with a pair of tights, or two!) I actually like my legs better with tights on, as they hide small imperfections!!! And I don't dress to get a boyfriend. I don't think summer is particularly lucky for me, as opposed to any other time of year...

maybealone Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 I don't think summer is particularly lucky for me, as opposed to any other time of year... I never found any certain style of clothes or time of year to be different. Heck, I had plenty of dates in the 90s when we were all about flannel shirts and jeans. http://showlowgolf.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/ian_pouter_fashion.jpg ^^^ ummmmm..... .......yeeeeaaaaahhhh....... I said "around here"... meaning where I play. If I saw those outfits in real life, I'm afraid I might burn a retina.
zengirl Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 Summer here is just excruciatingly hot. Not exactly my cutest season. I don't wear anything particularly low cut in any season, and it's rarely too cold here for skirts or sundresses. I guess if you live somewhere where it snows regularly, it's different.
threebyfate Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 In the winter, I wear a coat over my burka. In the summer, it's just my burka so yeah, sans coat makes grown men tremble and cry! 1

Titania22 Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 So, really, crazy, plaid, too long shorts are enough for you to AVOID meeting your potential perfect soul mate? REALLY? Physical appeal is part on the equation, without that I am unlikely to want to get down and dirty. Sure I would meet Mr Interesting dress sense. He could be a cool "friend" guy. Of course personality and mental stimulation trumps all in physical attraction. And I could always gift him something more appealing to wear.
Titania22 Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 I'll make no guarentees to "quality". However, longevity is no problem I like longevity, could you last 2hrs?

Anela Posted May 5, 2012 Posted May 5, 2012 I wear "less" clothes (as in capri pants instead of long jeans) because it's hot. I figure showing any less will cause guys to flee at the sight of my dimply, vampire-white flesh. Me, too. I miss being in shape, but it's been years since I wore anything like a proper summer dress (I wear long skirts, but the long dresses are too heavy). I was very self-conscious for years, though. A couple of years ago, I found myself resenting the way that I was made to feel when I was younger (the negative strongly over-rode the positive). Last year, I was told that I should show my legs off more (I had them resting on the desk, and someone admired them), but I really need to shape up a bit. I want to be wearing more dresses and sandals.. I'm sick of feeling like crap (in all respects).
wwwjd Posted May 5, 2012 Posted May 5, 2012 I like longevity, could you last 2hrs? Tanteric marathons over high speed sprints are by bag, baby! I mean, yes.
Titania22 Posted May 5, 2012 Posted May 5, 2012 Tanteric marathons over high speed sprints are by bag, baby! I mean, yes. Wow, I haven't even had the opqortunity to try tantric. Have wanted to though.
