Yesterday I sent a misfire text to my bf. It was meant for my friend (female). We were talking about my bf going out on girls night ect....he does not want me going out with the girls without him. So I texted her "let me know when its boys time" meaning when can he come along. Anyways thats the text he got. He blew it off, but then when I was in the shower he went through my phone and looked at all my texts. I know because I had a new text it was gone. I just feel invaded. How can he act like it didnt bother him, then go through my ****?!

Well, going by just the information you posted he was obviously suspicious of your activities and wanted you to drop your guard to better check up on you.

he hasnt "punched" anything or gotten angry since we moved in together. He has chilled alot on the controlling also, doesnt have to follow me everywhere, so I feel we are making progress....just dont know why he'd do that.

Did he misunderstand the text? Did you explain it that way to him?

To a guy it might easily come across as 'tell me when it's time for us to go have fun with some boys' (not meaning the bf) so naturally that would arouse his suspicions a lot. To reassure himself he's gone through your phone.

Not excusing his actions, but if you didn't explain or he's got a history of being cheated on, his discomfort is understandable.

That's my take on it. I suspect he thinks the 'let me know when its boys time' msg which he got my mistake, might have another meaning, and wants to see what boys you have been chatting to.
