irc333 Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Every noticed that some people with profiles that paste some kind of "Privacy notice" about not publishing their pictures or information at other spots on the web? You think anyone could actually take that seriously? See this on POF all the time: PRIVACY NOTICE WARNING: Any person and/or institution using this website or any of its associated websites, you do NOT have my permission to utilize any of my profile information nor any of the content contained herein including, but not limited to my photos. You are hereby notified that you are strictly prohibited from disclosing, copying, distributing, disseminating, or taking any other action with regard to this profile and the contents herein. The foregoing prohibitions also apply to your employee(s), agent(s), student(s) or any personnel under your direction or control. The contents of this profile are private and legally privileged and confidential information, violation of my personal privacy is punishable by law.
fortyninethousand322 Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Probably someone took an image of them and used it for an escort service ad or something. And they don't want that done again.
Star Gazer Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 P.S. You realize you just violated the person's notice by copying it and pasting it here, right?
dasein Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 Oh, that's awesome, gives me a great joke idea for when I crank up OLD again. I have a hunchety hunch that putting such language in one's profile violates the TOS of the dating site, so wouldn't recommend it before a careful read of the TOS.
Author irc333 Posted May 1, 2012 Author Posted May 1, 2012 P.S. You realize you just violated the person's notice by copying it and pasting it here, right? Actually, it's the same exact thing that's posted on all profiles, so they are just as guilty. LOL
