Beend dating a girl for 9 months. Everything is GREAT when we're together. We are both in love with each other. Never fight or argue. Seldom lack conversation when we're together. Lots of affection. Excellent sex.

There had been 2 prior break-ups where I didn't talk to her for 10 days in January and then 3 weeks in Feb/March, due to me being a commitment phobe.

Two weeks ago, she tells me she wants to work in a strip bar. I blow a gasket, we break up the next day because I reacted poorly to her desire to do this. (It was COMPLETELY out of character for her to even consider this strip bar thing)

The breaking up drags out for a week, because she had me forwarded to voice mail the first few days, due to my poor reaction.

The day after we break up, she starts texting me lots of stuff that almost indicated she didn't want to break up, but not quite. I never responded to any of it. The next day, she did say in a text message that she didn't want to break up, so we get back together.

4 or 5 days after we get back together, she sends a text that says she's changing e-mail addresses. Later that day, she changes her phone number.

Two days after changing her phone number, yesterday, she has a weird story about how her driver's side window was shattered, because she supposedly locked her keys in the car.

So, yesterday, we're talking about a friend of mine who is suicidal due to getting dumped by this girl he loved. I said I guess he really was in love with her. Then she says, "Or maybe he just doesn't like rejection".

Today, she has a flat tire. She just happened to pick up a nail. --Weird.

Ok, this is what I THINK happened. She met another guy and missed being single, plus she's scared I'm gonna vanish on her again. So she announces something that is so out of character, she KNEW I'd blow a gasket and react poorly, which I did. She then used my poor reaction to break up. She goes out and sleeps with the new guy a time or two. Then, she realizes that she'll blow it with the best guy she could ever meet (me) and changes her mind. The other guy, not liking rejection, starts to blow up her phone and e-mail with messages that are making her feel guilty. So she changes her number. Then, this guy throws a brick through her drivers side window and puts a nail under her tire. (He didn't like rejection)

That's what I THINK happened here. I checked with the police dept today and there was no police report at her address for anything. Probably just means she didn't bother calling the police to report it after the fact.

Any thoughts on this brief bullet point summary???

Your hunch sounds plausible, have experienced similar.

Yea that sounds like the Ben Afleck strategy; start acting like a nutjob in the hopes you will dump them.

Pretty cowardly actually.
