Matilda Posted June 21, 2004 Posted June 21, 2004 I am looking for some exercise videos to do at home. I got a "Pilates for Dummies" tape that I like, but I'd like to get something that is fun and more cardio oriented. I like to dance, and it's something that I never get to do anymore, so I would love to find a tape that is dance based. (Not ballet though.) I used to do a lot of aerobics before having my last child, and did gymnastics in high school, so I have been quite fit in the past, but I haven't worked out in the past 4-5 years. It's way past time to get moving. I went to the video rental place last night, thinking I would just rent some and try them out, but it seems they don't carry them anymore. And it's so hard to tell, from the descriptions if they are any good. Does anybody have any suggestions?
shamen Posted June 21, 2004 Posted June 21, 2004 Have you tried or considered yoga? I love my Kripalu yoga tapes; they come in gentle and dynamic. These may not be the kind of fun that you are looking for, but I feel pretty good after them! Just a thought.
Author Matilda Posted June 21, 2004 Author Posted June 21, 2004 I have thought about yoga. I took a yoga class in college, a long time ago, and really liked it, it was very relaxing. I will have a look at the kripalu yoga tapes. Thanks for the suggestion.
