Chemistry

If we remember what our mothers told us, chemistry is the art of making explosions. This is chemistry's only purpose.

So... it only stands to reason that the human body is made of chemicals, this must be the reason for the Population Explosion. Maybe this is where suicide bombers come from. Maybe it's called "chemistry" in relationships because both partners are unstable and likely to blow up at one another.

Well, other than your mom's definition of chemistry being completely wrong, I do like where you are going with the "volatile mixing in relationship" idea.

If peeps try to mix chemicals fast just because they are "pretty colored", the ends results will probably fail. Might not end in an explosion, probably just some bubbling, fizzling out and a bad smell.

If, however, one does some homework and learns the elements involved, they could brew something together that is amazing, long lasting, smells great and only improves with time. Might not be an explosion that destroys everything it wanted to be, but could be a solid substance that makes for a great foundation for future additional chemistry to be mixed in. :)

Having chemistry with someone, doesn't have to equate to that. A lot of people have good chemistry with the people in their lives; it's a strong, mutually-felt connection.

Well, technically you burn nutrients in every cell of your body for energy so ...

And fat is simply backup energy stored on hand in case **** hits the fan.

In that case, people don't usually find "chemistry" if it involves LOT's of back-up energy. ROTFLMAO!!!!!

My experience with chemistry has been mixing the chemicals, then they proceed to rapidly boil looking like an explosion is imminent. And then it makes a fart sound.

Exactly.

A relationship won't survive on chemistry alone. But it won't thrive without it, either.
