Feanor Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 Hi, I was talking to this girl online and we talked about meeting at this restaurant around 1 pm. She gave me a number to text her at. I texted her but accidentally put a 6 instead of a 9. So obviously she didn't get that text lol. I didn't hear back from her obviously so I fell asleep. I woke up and then checked and realized I put in the wrong number. Then I found at she actually went to the restaurant and waited for me there. It was never confirmed, though. Wouldn't you wait until you actually got a text before just showing up at the restaurant? I feel bad but the meeting was never confirmed!
dasein Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 You should call, not text, and apologize. Also, never cancel or modify date plans via text, it causes problems you experienced and is plain rude also. 2
Author Feanor Posted April 28, 2012 Author Posted April 28, 2012 Younger women prefer texting. She specifically told me to text her at that number. I have already apologized.
dasein Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 Cool, well it happens and has happened to all of us. Don't listen to what they say, do what you know works and is right. I've been to too many parties women planned with $2000 worth of liquor, custom invitations, napkins, decorations... ... and no ice or cups Take the reins, unless you yourself are the type to forget the ice (then it's a coin toss ) you will be happy you did in the long run.
Author Feanor Posted April 28, 2012 Author Posted April 28, 2012 Thanks. She's forgiven me, I'm about to meet her right now. She seems kind of weird, we'll see what happens, haha!
