I have been living with my girlfriend for a number of months now. We are both girls. We have been together for over a year and official for almost a year. Living together for six months.

Anyways, I am an extremely emotional person. Its absolutely horrible. I have really bad mood swings at times and take medicine. I am on Wellbutrin. I can snap in a seconds time. Sometimes I am good, sometimes I am not. For the most part, I know I am a very nice person and very good girlfriend. I show my love and I am kind, but when I am moody or bitchy, it is just gross.

I have a good job and take care of her and her daughter. She is doing everything she can to ensure that her daughter succeed and there were some issues but now she is great. We believe that we really turned her life around, and feel so proud. It isn't always easy but it's very happy for the most part.

Sex life is great, friendship very strong, happy, tight bond, committed, close and not many people on the "inside" with us, have a dog etc....but when I "**** it up," for the day with a strange attitude, it really shifts everything.

I don't feel it just comes out of nowhere but I know I have to be stronger. Basically, she is very sarcastic and "tough." I am a baby- I cry easily and am sensitive. When I cry sometimes or feel ugh, she'll say, "Someone has PMS," or something I KNOW you shouldn't say to a girl. I never do that to her. Bringing up PMS? Come on.

I just need to control it....

If anyone else out there is like me AKA doing everything right except controlling their emotions from time to time, how do they do it? What do you do when you feel UGH for whatever reason? How do you stop a fight from starting???

What are methods?????

Could I ask how old you are? :)

Have you considered having a health check for hormone imbalance...?

are you nearing the menopause...?

You seek some counseling to help you learn how to control this and how to handle reactions, keep them calm and peaceful. Meds can only do so much, combo that with therapy it can help so much.

It's also a learned behaviour, you may fly off the handle and say stuff, but with the help of counselling you can 'unlearn' the behaviour/habit of just reacting and making things harder.

Give you a zapper and them the button.
