Woggle Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 it chapped my hide in college 20 years ago, and still chaps my hide now: those women who use their looks to draw men to them, men who they treat like crap before dumping them. While the average Jane, who has a healthier outlook on M-W relationship, gets passed over for these harpies. <insert rant: Men, y'all really are idiots sometimes, going for that bright and shiny object rather than looking for something of true worth! <end rant> This does work both ways.

I think that there are certain people who don't 'shine' in their younger years because it's not their time. If I were to advise a younger woman or girl in this situation, I'd tell her that she just has to hold on and wait for the guys who are more compatible with her to 'grow up a little bit'. I think this works for younger men and boys. 2

newmoon Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 i wonder how other women get men to buy things for them and why other women even allow men to buy so much for them. it would leave me with little self-respect to have a man buying me stuff all of the time, but some girls are experts at it and get clothes, jewelry, random gifts, etc.

I am mostly experienced with men, but even the few women I have dealt with have issues with that. It's like no matter who I take a shot at dating they have a gay panic attack. The same people often talk a good game about how open minded they are.

Yes, yes, all us women can open our own doors but he is being thoughtful when he does that stuff. You ruin it for the girls that appreciate those small things. And I am in total agreement with Mme C. about women that talk about how they don't get along with other women.."they are jealous of me...I just understand men better.. " and the likes of that.
