l2hvn Posted June 20, 2004 Posted June 20, 2004 it's been day 6 of no contact from my ex. it breaks my heart and i miss him terribly but i know it's over now and i need to move on. i have posted a topic about it on another forum: http://www.loveshack.org/forums/t40960/ i have left some things in his place that i really need and want back. when will be a good time to do it? how do i go about doing it? i don't want to look like i missed him and that i want him back. b/c i don't want him in my life anymore. any advice?????? need your input. thanks.
msrealdoll Posted June 20, 2004 Posted June 20, 2004 The sooner the better. Call him and tell him the situation. Be polite and cordial. Ask him how to get your things back without making him uncomfortable. If you don't think you can go over there without having a big emotional reaction, have a mutual friend go for you, or have him drop them off somewhere. Don't be surprised if he doesn't want to see you alone. I would suggest you take someone with you if you go get them-this will prevent you from lingering, or getting into any emotional conversations.

Really look around and when you contact him ask him if he can think of anything that may be there. A one time swap is so much easier than going thru this twice. Good Luck.
