LOL! I once was told that it's good to be not very picky.

Cause being picky is like saying, "No one is good enough for me." :lmao::laugh::eek::rolleyes::D;):p

This sounds pretty consistent with the attitudes of a lot of Asian women I've met, knew, or observed in college...they had very low standards, as long as he was white...

LOL! Just because we want white men doesn't mean we have very low standards :p

Well, I have to admit that I've been with whites cause I am really into them but these whites came along with awesome level of success, amazing personality and do have good relationship with their families.

So far, I've never met and never been with white guys that are nasty and are no good. ;)

I'm just curious about other people's preferences.

So, I'm going to start it.

I'm an Asian lady that has that Korean smooth fair skin. And after having a rough break up with an Asian guy a few years ago. I now only have my beautiful tantalizing eyes for Caucasians. Haha!

I don't know why but I easily get attracted to white boys. It has just become my fetish. Like if somebody will ask me: "Hey Kaye, what should a guy do to make you like him?" I am just going to say: "He just gotta be white!" LOL! :lmao:

I'm an Asian female. People often think I'm Filipino, but I'm not. I have medium skin; it's neither fair nor dark; I really like my skin color.

I like non-white guys. This is not to say I'm never attracted to a white guy on some surface level; I am. But I never actually like white guys. I always find something problematic with their personalities, attitudes, and/or values.

Most of my past boyfriends have been Hispanic or something other than white. Right now I love an Indian guy. I think Indian guys are "ballers," lol.

Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiii ;):love::laugh:

I used to date white guys. Then I got really into Indian guys.

YES! Indian men...

Posted
Me too!

 I've dated 4 Caucasians with blonde hair and green eyes, oh jesus, they were all awesome.

And I don't know. But no matter how attractive these guys from other ethnicities who're trying to pursue me, such as Latinos, Indians, Pacific Islander or Asians. I really don't give a damn. I really see myself walking down the isle while looking to a white guy waiting for me at the altar. And in 10 years down, I know I'll be playing with my 3 little gorgeous kids with white skin and blonde hair and green/blue eyes. :)

Oh my god, I pretty much don't like blond hair and blue eyes on a guy. If a guy has that combo, I'm likely to start crying and run away...

My preference resides culturally. Western cultured men.

Same here, basically. I like Western cultured men. My idea is a non-white man who is Western cultured.

Yep. I will literally cry and run away :p

Edit: Okay, well, I jest. It's possible I'd like a guy with blond hair and blue eyes. But it's rare. I like darker haired guys. And usually ethnic.

I honestly don't know how hair or eye color can matter so much in beauty. I mean an attractive guy will probably be attractive with all hair/eye/skin colors.

...Well when I was younger, I was really into finding old rich men to date...

It all makes sense now.

There is a difference between attraction and preference, right?

I think guys with light colored hair and light colored eyes can be (and often enough are) physically attractive. I dated a waiter last year who had light brown (almost dirty blond) hair and maybe blue eyes (hazel, maybe). But the thing is, light colored hair and light colored eyes, in most cases, come in the form of a white guy. And as I mentioned above, I almost always have issues with the personality/attitude/values of a white guy. Hence, while the physical features in and of themselves are conceivably attractive, I'm very used to not, ultimately, liking the guy attached to the light colored hair and eyes. This may be negatively coloring my view of the physical features.

p.s. I definitely ultimately didn't like that waiter guy. Huge issues with his attitudes, ways, etc. He was nice, but nice is just nice on the surface. Attitude and values are a whole different story.

All of them. Ethnicity is something that doesn't really factor into whether I like a person.

You'd be surprised, heh.

This is interesting...I'm not sure exactly how I'd explain it, but I'd like to offer that preference is almost externally driven...that is, people develop preferences from external sources (e.g., other people, media, culture, etc.), while attraction is more internally motivated...

I am about as white as can be. Blond hair, green eyes, pale skin.

I have been attracted to men of each ethnic background.

However, most the men I have liked have been white (but then, most the people I know are white.)

I took this attraction study thing a while back, where you rate about a million photos (many variations of the same image with a few things digitally altered), and the ethnic background I apparently showed the highest attraction to was hispanic.

In the end though, it doesn't mean much because it's more individual than ethnicity.

I tend to be more immediately attracted to larger men - very much toward the more stockily built (frame, not a euphemism for overweight or bodybuilder). Oftentimes taller men catch my eye. I notice smiles with nice teeth, pretty eyes... Most men I like have been dark haired but again that could merely be sample.

But... it comes down to the individual. That something special.

Where I went to college, there were a crapload of Asians and several Asian fraternities and sororities (all composed of idiots).

In one of the fraternities, one of the brothers found out his (real, blood) sister was dating a white guy and wasn't cool with it. He got a bunch of his frat brothers together and they put a pillow over the boyfriends head in front of his sister and beat the crap out of him. That fraternity lost their charter.

This is what Asian guys back in the day referred to as 'keeping it real"...

My experience in college consisted of similar Asian groups (indeed composed of idiots ). I often saw Asian women with some truly unfortunate white dudes whom they would parade around like a trophy, especially in front of their Asian counterparts. It was a status symbol to them.

It's just a loose example illustrating my belief that "preference" is externally driven...these women preferred white guys because it gave them higher status within their group. Sure, you can mask it as "attraction," but it soon becomes readily apparent what the true motivations are...
