Emilia Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 -Tried to remove my acne, that will take some time i have been bad for few years. How have you been dealing with this?

Just be confident and be yourself and that is more attractive 1
stillafool Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Also develop a little smile (so sexy and with a closed mouth). I don't know if you are a funny person but we women love a man with a sense of humour. I love that you are so clean. Women love, love love that in a man. You can lose the earring IMO but I guess that depends on your age. I wish you the best.
mostlyclueless Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 1. Lose the earring 2. If you've tried all the over the counter acne stuff, go to your dermatologist and get accutane 3. Develop your interests and hobbies
USMCHokie Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 ...i´m 5.9/5.10 See if you can increase these numbers...that'll make you hotter.
wwwjd Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 ask gals what kind of clothes you should get to look better. "Nice" clothes and clothes that look better and will be attractive are two different things. sometimes. Really good shoes. I've gotten lots of compliments on these shoes: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_CGAC6F77Tho/TDYttyf9kaI/AAAAAAAAALU/84gWv3lJScs/s320/robert_wayne.jpg That's not NORMALLY my thing, but that is exactly why I got them. And they are comfortable, and I have 2 other styles like it now, and the women at the office love them. nice watch clean car stand up strait crest WHITE strips for teeth
truth_seeker Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Get rid of the earring, make sure you are wearing nice clothes. What you might think is nice might not be chic. See an aesthetician. Get your skin cleaned regularly and use good skin care products.
verhrzn Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 What are your hobbies and what is your style of "nice clothes"? The clothes really tell the world what sort of person you are... so if your idea of "nice clothes" are clothes that tell the world "Aint I a pimp," then you might not have a lot of luck. I second getting rid of the earring, as it's a little "aren't I a superficial rebel." (Or gay. I see earring and go "Gay" in my head.) Unless that's who you WANT to attract, then by all means, keep it in.
wwwjd Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 what's wrong with the earring? I've got one because I am a pirate
TigerCub Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Whiten teeth if you have to. Lose the uni-brow if you have one.
verhrzn Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 what's wrong with the earring? I've got one because I am a pirate That sums up EXACTLY what is wrong with the earring. Also, apologies for possible offense, but I HATE those shoes. Dear God, ew ew ew. But I also hated the whole "pointy toe heels" thing women had a few years ago, so maybe I'm just weird.
maysj18 Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Those shoes are AWFUL, hahaha it's always good to have your own style so do what you want, I'm just not a fan. As for the acne, I shadowed a dermatologist before I switched to pharmacy and the BEST thing you can do for your skin is to use non-irritating products as much as possible. I would go to the store and buy the Acne Free System (16 bucks) or just start with the face cleanser only which you can buy for only 6. Now, the key to healthy skin is the moisturizer- do NOT buy heavy lotions. They can make acne worse. Pure 100% aloe vera with no fragrance, dyes, or alcohol is the best moisturizer you can get. It has antibacterial properties that actually kill the bacteria that causes acne. If you don't want to buy new stuff, just try the aloe vera twice a day. It helps with redness and is super cheap at your local drugstore. If your acne is uncontrollable, accutane is always an option; however, it is a potentially dangerous drug that should only be a last resort. I've seen some dermatologists hand out accutane to teenagers with very mild acne that could have easily been fixed otherwise, so that's why I'm telling you this. Some doctors just aren't very conscientious. When it comes to everything else, it sounds like you're doing a good job; however, just make sure you're not making it obvious. A man who takes care of himself is attractive, but you may be coming off as high maintenance. It's okay to care about all this stuff, just try to act nonchalant about it. Subtle scnets are the best- I don't want to smell you a mile away. Good teeth are important and so is good hair.
verhrzn Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 If ya don't mind wandering into a make-up store, I use the oatmeal cleanser and moisturizer from Bare Essentials, and I LOVE them. I still get occasional break-outs, but they've done the best job on my oily and acne prone skin than anything else I've come across, all while being very gentle. (No harsh alcohol or chemicals.) Also, make sure that you're moisturizing; I do in the mornings but some people do it twice a day.
FitChick Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Go very lightly with the cologne. Now, I am someone who loves fragrance and has many bottles, but most men wear too much. If someone is standing more than three feet away from you, they shouldn't be able to smell it. I can't tell you how many times I've walked down a long hallway with no one in sight, but can still smell whatever it is they were wearing. It's people like that who will get all fragrance banned from the workplace. I've heard Proactiv is the best over the counter acne product. Best bet would be to see a dermatologist.
dasein Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Sounds like you are doing great in the physical, congrats. IMO it's mostly numbers now. The attitude you want is "I can take you or leave you, but both of us will have fun if I take you." There is one PUA trick that I admit to using regularly that works, that is the "takeaway." You can see it outlined in the movie "The Tao of Steve," in Seinfeld in the "Leave them wanting more" episode. It's not really a PUA trick as much as show business, have one foot out the door, end any interaction on a high note. Don't hang around and bore people and they will crave your company. Don't hang on women interminably waiting for something to happen. Get in, charm, move away for awhile, check back with more charm. Don't make this appear contrived like you are some kind of social butterfly, but do be in motion and not afraid to say "excuse me, I hope to be back later." Does all kinds of good things for your social value. One is that it primes them to give you their phone number next time you are near if they are interested, you don't even ask for it. Good luck.
spookie Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Hair gel and ear piercings are not really my thing.
AD1980 Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Go see a dermatologist it worked for me on my face..Though for some reason i cant get rid of acne all over my back.. Hairs important also take care of it..though for someone like me i cant do much with it i have that scruffy italian hair that you cant do much with..
TaraMaiden Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Really good shoes. I've gotten lots of compliments on these shoes: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_CGAC6F77Tho/TDYttyf9kaI/AAAAAAAAALU/84gWv3lJScs/s320/robert_wayne.jpg  YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING ME!! I've never seen anything so hideously pretentious in my life - you want to woo her, not kick her to death!
dasein Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Those are fine shoes for rock n roll music, pool halls, certain clubs, leather jacket stuff. What they used to call Chelsea Boots are great generally also in most meeting environments without the scrolling/detail so more broadly acceptable. No idea what they are called now. 1

Imported Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Hair gel and ear piercings are not really my thing. If you have short hair, use American Crew Fiber Amazon.com: American Crew Fiber Pliable Molding Cream Hair Styling Creams (85g/3 Oz): Beauty Also if you have dark hair, use Gatsby wax Amazon.com: Gatsby Hair Wax Mat Type: Beauty Either holds your hair making it easy to get it the way you want, has a nice smell and women can run their fingers through it without it feeling like you put gel on it. It does not make your hair hard, sticky or anything like what gel does. I think the Gatsby wax smells a little better, but I mainly like it because it will take the shine out of your hair and makes my hair look matt black. Otherwise I always go with the American Crew Fiber
Imported Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Shoes....I like chukka type-ish boots. There are many styles to it, but I usually go for ones that are more brute looking and not so much like the Clark desert boots. Kinda like these Amazon.com: Chippewa Men's 6" Rugged Handcrafted Lace-Up Boot: Shoes
