Mme. Chaucer Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 The second is that they NEED it because they themselves lack distinction and therefore having one will fix this sense of inadequacy. Dude! You're hurting me! My apologies to the few exceptions out there Whew. You mean ME, obviously! But they are ALWAYS a subtraction from nature's or god's, if you will, handiwork. It took billions of years to produce the human being and one who marks him or herself up shows just how primitive we still are in our appreciation of things. Nah. I just like all kinds of art and enhancement. I enjoy decorative gardens and spectacular architecture as well as natural landscapes, and I LOVE makeup and coloring my hair, too. It doesn't detract from my appreciation of God's handiwork. They seem to hand in hand with stupidity and unruliness. Well, I am not stupid at all. Unruly, yes. So you might be about half right. 1
ThaWholigan Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 I like tattoos on women. Sometimes they can be ugly, but a lot of the time it looks great. Only thing that makes me a little anxious is that I'm completely tattoo-less.......but a lot of girls seem to mostly want guys with tattoos, and I currently have no interest in getting one (I have sensory processing disorder, it won't be pretty ). It's probably much ado about nothing though......
Shaun-Dro Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 The recent post about the tat lately, made me decide to start this one. Summer is approaching, you'll start seeing babes at the beach and swimming areas. As I sit there admiring a lovely woman in her bikini...she turns....and she has a tattoo sprawled across her entire ribcage. Whatever happened to women with small, cute little tats on a wrist or ankle, now that they completely deface themselves with a large sleeve tat. The lower back tat has even "expanded" to cover almost the entire lower half of the back. One time, I went to one of those theme based restaurants where they had belly dancers.....it made me sick to see a belly dancer with a lower back tat the size of a dinner plate. The 1950's "Pin Up" modeling has made a comeback, only to see tats on women that cover her upper chest, sleeves....etc. Exhibit A Very pretty woman, in a gold colored dress.....somehow I find clashes. An outfit more suitable for THIS woman would be leather chaps, chains, and probably be found on the back of an ex-cons motorcycle. Just sayin'. Now that I'm done ranting...(puts on flame retardant suit, LOL) But, men, don't you agree....rather off-putting? Let's refer to American women who look this way. She's totally lost her identity of what it is to look like a woman. I think it's disgusting so I dont even bother any more with her lame, tacky-looking ass.
Ruby Slippers Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Women with tattoos don't give a crap if some guys don't like it. Because the guys who do like it tend to love it, and have tattoos of their own. I'm not a big fan of tattoos, but I wouldn't discount a cool guy for having them. I just think the body is beautiful on its own, and MOST tattoos I've seen aren't that great - even if the person thinks the art is so cool and amazing. I'd say maybe 10% are really beautiful work that adds something to the human form. 1
Michael Johnson Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Every hear of anybody who smokes being bothered by people who don't smoke? In any case, tattoos are ugly on women. I could never consider a woman with a tattoo as marriage material. And I know I'm not the only guy who thinks this way. Tattoos on women look trashy and make her seem whorish. It's more of an issue of what type of tattoo she's wearing, the size of it, and where it is positioned. A lot of guys view large tattoo's on a woman's backside a huge turn-off, especially if that tat spells out another man's name. Tramp stamps, I believe they're called nowadays. My wife has a small tattoo of a heart on her ankle. I find it sexy on her. We all have different preferences but I do understand where you're coming from.
Disenchantedly Yours Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 A lot of guys view large tattoo's on a woman's backside a huge turn-off, especially if that tat spells out another man's name. Tramp stamps, I believe they're called nowadays. So I believe what you're saying is that it's best to get a "your name here" tattoo on your lower back if your going to go that route.
Michael Johnson Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 So I believe what you're saying is that it's best to get a "your name here" tattoo on your lower back if your going to go that route. If you want it that way nobody's stopping you.
Disenchantedly Yours Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Well, that way, it would be more inclusive and shouldn't offend a man.
Michael Johnson Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Well, that way, it would be more inclusive and shouldn't offend a man. I guess women love having their asses tatted up, eh? My "ex girlfriend" was one of those rock-motorcycle gangers. Sex was great and her body was tatted up like a page out of a DC Comics book, not to mention her flashy toenail polish. Ahhhh memories.
goldengirl11 Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 (edited) When I read the title of this thread I thought you used tats as a disguise i.e polite word for tits! I can't comment on this thread though as I don't have/know anyone with big tats!! Interesting thread though. Edited May 3, 2012 by goldengirl11
SarahRose Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 Tattoos are just ugly. I have to wonder about the mental state of people who get their bodies covered in big ugly tattoos. It seems something like teen cutters would do when they get old enough or something that is just done to fit in with their peers.
Feelin Frisky Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 Model agencies and pro cheerleader orgs like the famous Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders reject chicks with tattoos out of hand without a look regardless of how gorgeous they are. It doesn't pass as class anywhere really except in local trailer parks and jails or mostly low end circles. Just how it is. It may look real groovy on cable ink shows but it's a big subtraction if you're good-looking and might want to grab the brass ring of success trading on your looks some day. I have encountered a few women so at war with imaginary authority and typecasting that they go hog wild with tats. It's a shame because no one cares but them and perhaps the others who frequent the ink parlour. Not everyone wants to be a model or public performer like a DC cheerleader but if competing for a serious job with some hairy ass tattoo versus someone who looks like they have their head on straight, you're probably gonna get walking papers. Why do that? Style should be immediately changeable and never committed permanently to the derma. That just sets off vibes that work against a woman in most professions--chefs and kitchen help excluded.
FitChick Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 (edited) I've got no idea how guys in prison can get tats all over their face. I think it's a great idea because it's so much easier to track them down after they commit crimes. I don't care what other people choose to do with their bodies whether it's tattoos, abortions, plastic surgery, piercing, tribal scarring. I'd rather spend my money on other things. I predict this will be Edited May 4, 2012 by FitChick
