So recently my gf of a year and a half had caught feelings for a guy she works with. For about a month they texted ALOT and she lied to me about it. They even went out to eat as "friends" twice. Before this she tools me she doesn't feel the same as she use to but she still loves me. She said she wants to try and work it out but sometimes she's unsure. She has told me she won't talk to him anymore and she hasn't. Then she went to work and he was there and she said it hurt seeing him cuz some of the feelings are still there.she said she has more feelings for me but idk. What should I do? She has also told me she doesn't want to be with him just unsure if she does with me. :(

Was in your shoes once upon a time. If I could do it all again with the goal of keeping the relationship alive, I'd beat her to the punch.

It may be hard, but I suggest for you to be the one to break up with her. Show her that it isn't fair what she's putting you through and it will not be tolerated.

As it stands now, she's holding all the cards in this situation. With that in mind, she's slowly losing respect for you. She's pushing the boundaries like a child does to their parent. The more crap you tolerate from her, the less she will respect you. The less she respects you, the less attractive you become to her. If you break up with her, you'll sweep the carpet from under her and take control of the situation. Not only that, it will reveal how she really feels about you. You will be forcing her to analyze her own life, her choices, and her ideas.

Of course there are several ways things can go from there, but every possibility will fall under two obvious categories: Either she'll want you back, or she won't. If she wants you back, congrats you just salvaged your relationship. If she doesn't, it speaks volumes. She's BSing right now, but by doing this it forces her to tell the truth, which is better for both of you in the long run.

Let her go so she can go to him.

If you love her set her free.

If it were meant to be, she will come back.
