He doesn't have to be some guy everyone knows on television or anything. All they had to do was give the IMPRESSION of being a celebrity and these women went apes over him even though nobody knew what he did. I'm betting a lot of those women had men at home too. Seriously you can put in all this work, always be there for your woman, handle the bills, all of that, and the moment some guy who looks sucessful or famous comes through, she's ready to go. 2

Possibly by hiring some actresses or asking a group of your female friends to follow you around a mall bouncing with excitement, clapping, cheering, and making a big deal out of you. Is it more likely that the group of girls (same core group following him around throughout the whole video, btw) were tricked into believing he's a celebrity, or that they were planted there by these magnificently clever pranksters.

I just happened to be wearing the jersey and had all the proportions of the player and someone jumped to the wrong conclusion and started spreading it around that I was so and so NY Ranger (I forget who--this was like late 70's). I got that kind of treatment a bit which I milked. It was kinda cool for the short while I booked.

This is true. This kind of lemming behavior is not limited to one gender. I live close to the Jersey Shore house and during the summer there is always a group of people in the parking lot across the street there for hours waiting for somebody to come out. There has to be a 24/7 police presence even in the winter because people will try and take a shingle or anything off the house as a souvenir. I seriously hope this show loses it's popularity pretty soon so they leave town.

No way. No how. If so, why aren't any young gay men following the fake star's entourage around the way the women are? It might... might work on men if it was a huge sports star being faked, never some minor league unknown, and they would stop following once they got an autograph. Even then it wouldn't be the same. You can't play the "genders are equal" game with everything, and obsession with celebrities and starf-cking is one glaring example of mostly female behavior. What % of the audience for tv celebrity shows is female? What % of tabloid periodical and magazine sales focusing on celebrities is to females? Go to a male pop star's show, what's the audience full of? Screaming females. Go to a female pop star's show, what's the audience full of? Screaming females. Men and women act very differently around celebrities. You don't see 100 men at music shows trying to get backstage and give a roadie a BJ. To be fair, there are lots of women who aren't starf-ckers and obsessed with celebrity, but there are a -whole- lot who are... or Star and People Magazines would be out o business. Men sure as hell aren't buying all that crap.

You know fair enough, I probably would bang a fat ugly woman for 100k or more, not for anything less. So in that sense, I'm a whore too, just a very high priced one. What I don't do is get wet and have my nipples get hard, get all "ooo and ahh" and tingly all over, merely at the whiff of money, celebrity or power like women do, like a dog slavering and begging over smelling a stick of bacon. I'm simply not that superficial, vain and unable to control my emotions, so that makes me a much smarter and in control brand of whore I guess.

You know I forgot to post that I have actually done this kind of prank before, which was why I posted, just got detoured on debating kaylan. I was at a hotel on business, and one of my business associates looks like he might be on TV. The cast of a well-known tv show was at the hotel together with a whole huge flock of groupies, maybe as many as 100 (all female). We paraded my buddy around pretending to be guards or his "posse." The groupies would follow for a bit trying to figure out what piece of meat they were slobbering over. Once they figured out it was fake meat, they moved on like a pack looking for the next slice. We did this all weekend. None of us got laid as a result, but that's due to lack of trying, we were all either married or involved at the time. It was hilarious drunken fun though.
