ConfusedKid Posted June 20, 2004 Posted June 20, 2004 There's a girl that I really like, and we were really good friends at swimteam until it ended, but she ignored me in school. This might be because we're from two different social groups, but i dunno. We had fun at swimteam, she'd smile at me in the hall when nobody was looking, she'd be excited when she saw me downtown, and I'm pretty sure that she was checking me out in french. She probably knew that I liked her because a girl that I know found out that I liked her, and told her. But now she's been dancing with another guy at partys, and hanging out with him alot. But I don't think that they're goin out....yet. This really pisses me off not just because that guy isn't me, but because he mean to her, he's a jerk in general, he's a total air head, and he's got a rep for doing drugs. I know he's gonna end up hurting her and I don't want to see that happen. Before this, she's been turning down all the airhead jerks who come on to her, only to hang out with the worst one of all. Has she given up on me for this guy? If so WHY? I think I did most things right....I'd smile back at her, we signed eachothers year book, she gave me her IM/EMAIL and I gave her mine. However, one thing that I didn't do was talk to her when she was with her girly friends. They're ditsy and I don't get anlog w/ their boyfriends, and in turn, them. I'm thinking about either just telling him not to hurt her, or asking her how she feels, and if she dosen't like him telling him to step off. But knowing this kid that would lead to a fight, but not a big one since I'm twice his height and have already kicked last year his ass over a completely unrelated issue. What should I do?
StartingAgain Posted June 20, 2004 Posted June 20, 2004 Get this through your head right now. Some girls LIKE bad boys. The worse guys treat them the better they like it. They are drama queens. Of course this guys going to hurt her; she wants it. If she can get the two of you fighting over her, it'll be even better. Don't bite. These girls have no use for normal, nice guys. They find them boring. They will flirt with you, lead you on, but that's pretty much it. The best think you can do with a girl who suffers from bad boy syndrome is leave her alone. She's pure trouble. Let the bad boys do their number on her. There are plenty of other girls in your school who don't want to play games. Go for them.
