You look fine now, and you might continue to look great later, but I suspect you will have to work for it. Nothing wrong with that but work is, obviously, hard, and a lot of people get tired of the continued effort. I think your running is a great way to go and I'd say you are to be congratulated on your ongoing efforts. Being fit is always attractive in any case.

It's great that your gf has it all but those women are rather rare. A thin size 0 woman will most likely lack curves. Not that it's wrong to be into that type of body. Guess it depends on what you call "skinny", I like slim women, size 0-2 on a small frame is not skin and bone, it's just slim, and a 32 B or C isn't that rare.

I even said thank you to some of the mean comments. I just don't think insincere opinions are needed. I can stand mean comments but I cant stand sarcasm. It's always nice not to contradict with what you've been saying the whole time or else it would just appear as fake regardless if you mean it or not. Just saying and no hard feelings.

And, just because you like something doesn't mean it's any better at all than something completely different. OP - I honestly don't think that the majority of men prefer a size 0 girl. Not in my experience, anyway. YOU have a very attractive body type and I'm pretty sure that becoming a size 0 would NOT be an improvement for you. But people like what they like, right? Don't take this thing so much to heart. I don't think you were even actually rejected. He either just ignored you or missed your message, but it's not like you asked him out and he said "no thanks, you are too overweight for me." In the future, I think you should try to flirt with a guy you like before 3.5 years of a crush have taken place. For now though, it's time to move on. Right? 1

Well I don't intend to be mean, you asked for honesty and I am giving you what you asked for. The other posters are correct, some guys will date heavier girls, and you shouldn't take that as saying you are heavy, because you're not. You are, in my opinion, average build for an American girl of your ethnicity and age and that's not a bad thing. American society does however tend to produce chubby adults as we get older, and it's something to watch for since you are not intrinsically slim. In the past or in other places, when food was hard to get, the body type you and I and a lot of other people have was well suited to survive; now it's saving for a caloric rainy day that will probably never come. You're taking reasonable steps to manage your bodies inherited tendencies and that's a wise move, don't get discouraged or too busy to keep it up. It just happens the guy you were crushing on seems to have similar tastes to mine, which is for slim women, but a lot of guys are less picky. Also, while as I said, the road to fat is shorter for you than it is for a slim girl, the road to slim is short for you too, just not as easy. You have a great frame and a lot of potential looks wise. One thing you are hiding is your face for I assume privacy reasons, but you do seem to have a round baby face, which will tend to make you look softer than you are. When you are leaner, you will possibly be thankful to have that softening influence. 1

Go to the site where the photo is stored and change the URL, then the links wont work any more. But seriously, you have nothing to be ashamed of, you look good and your face is lovely.

Also be aware that any other places you linked those to will also now be broken; in future, if not already, I would recommend you upload a copy to a service and then link the copy. Then you can nuke the copy without caring later. Also, I misread your initial post, somehow I thought you were running the Videoke and he was a frequent customer. A good looking guy who runs a Videoke joint .... wow you pick the tough ones. Good luck K.

People routinely wear clothes like that in public, I wouldn't worry about that aspect of it but then I'm a broken brain engineer People here wear clothes like that or smaller and this society is very conservative. You are in Cali, it's warm, I see no issue. 1
