Well loveshack i gave birth to my son yesterday! He was 7 lbs, 9 ounces. I ended up being 5 days late. I had to have a csection so I haven't been able to do much but my husband has been wonderful in stepping up. He is such a great dad! I am so happy!

I was disappointed at not being able to see him being born they decided to give me a csection after already being in labor for 13 hours! Ryan is def a good sleeper we are amazed. We have to wake him up to feed him. He sleeps so soundly that we have to touch him to make sure is alive. Thanks so much for the congrats everyone!

Well, enjoy it while you can, LB. It's very common for newborns to go through an early phase where they are sound and easy sleepers and everyone thinks "oh, this is easier than I thought!"...and then that phase ends . Maybe you'll be one of the lucky ones though and he's just going to stay that way. My son never even went through the early newborn sleep phase, he didn't sleep through an entire night for almost three years and I wouldn't wish that on anybody...but I wouldn't trade him for the world, either. You'll make anything work for that little glowing ember.

I was disappointed at having to have a C section too, but at least I didn't have to go through 13 hours of labor first. It can be a rough recovery but I'm sure you'll heal well, just being up to getting online and posting so soon was a good sign :bunny:.
