This question is mostly for the guys... what would someone do to make them seem clingy or needy? Especially during the getting to know each other phase..before anything is made official.
riggs Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Chronic calling or texting with every little problem. If you are in the getting to know change contact once a day or even once every couple of days is plenty.
Fondue Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 If you feel the need for constant communication, then you're clingy. That's the biggest thing. There are women that text the entire day. Like, from morning till night. Expect to text back and forth... And if you don't do that, it means you don't care about them. Many of my friends were stuck in this situation. I tend to not allow it happen and make it known very early on that it isn't acceptable. That kind of crap really irritates me. Can't stand it.

Ugh dating.

Ugh dating. CALL HIM! Yes, it's convenient but it's too easy to hide behind it. With a phone call you get a better handle on things based on voice inflection, length of answers etc. 1
