Savage4 Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 (edited) In my opinion the difference between a male virgin and a female virgin is huge. It's the same logic that when people get around the female is called a slut/whore and the male is called a player. It's really just boils down to biology in the sense that the female only wants to procreate with a suitor that will stick around to help raise the baby while males brains are wired to spread their 'seed' as far and wide as possible. For a guy to say that he is waiting for the 'right one' I think either must be religious or is using women's logic. When the time comes for him to give up his v-card he will realize it really isn't all that special or what he made it out to be. He would probably feel silly for waiting for her, especially if they don't work out in the end. Of course this is just my opinion... whatever floats your boat I guess. A female will never really understand how depressing it can be for a male to unwillingly be a virgin. When you start getting older and people find out you're a virgin they think something must be wrong with you. This is stereotyping but it just naturally happens. I would suggest working on the way you view yourself. If you are an unwilling virgin then you most likely have confidence/self-esteem issues. Stop caring so much what people think about you and learn to laugh at yourself. "but usually when someone is "quiet" etc etc, there is a genetic component." This is bs... it is nothing more than a limiting belief for you (If you don't know what a limiting belief is then read up on it and learn to break your limiting beliefs. It will change your life). Stop telling yourself that you can't get a girl because you are a quiet guy and this and that... no more excuses. The majority of developing attraction is done through non-verbal communication anyway. To be honest, sex isn't that much better than self-pleasure unless it's with someone that you truly care about. Then the possibilities are endless. I wouldn't even want to have sex with someone who doesn't truly want to have sex with me (prostitutes). If you develop a relationship with a woman the sex will naturally come and you will feel much more fulfilled when it does. For now try to focus on the positives of being a virgin. At least you don't have an std... Edited May 15, 2012 by Savage4 1
ladyabstrused Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 It's more of a freak thing, if the person is a male older than 22. At that age, it's pretty much assumed that any guy is able to get a GF or find somebody to have sex with, and if he can't, then he's a loser. As for women, they are just always weird and I have no idea what's the norm for them. Lol it's funny how you say women are just always weird. I don't quite know what the norm is for women, but what I'm seeing nowadays.....a lot of young girls are growing up to be very experienced. Even more than I am lol. It's all topsy turvy. I guess being a virgin at a certain age range is all right, and if you're at another certain age range, it can be considered weird. Guess it depends which generation you're at? Whichever way the norm or abnorm is, I think being a virgin is perfectly normal. 1
Lexii94 Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 I don't think being a virgin at 25 is abnormal. I mean a virgin is not the holy grail. There are tons just like yourself 1

No one, except maybe other men, are going to think you're a loser. Even then, the ones that do call you a loser aren't probably getting that much sex in the first place. I've noticed that a lot of men I was once friends w/ liked to brag about sex when in fact they're lying. You think women are weird because you're not understanding us. Or you know the wrong ones. 1
HeavenOrHell Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 Hopefully *you're* not saying that you think a virgin guy over 22 is a freak?! Because if you take away the few sexual experiences you've had that would make *you* a freak. And it's not a nice name to call someone. If women are 'always weird', why do you want to be with one so much?! It's more of a freak thing, if the person is a male older than 22.
