Black Jack Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Hi there. I have a problem that I must resolve with my best friend as our friendship is on stumbling rocks right now. I've been friends with this guy since we both were kids and we've been through a lot together. Both our moms are long-time friends since high school and so it was only natural for us to be friends with each other. He even saved my life once before and I thank him greatly for that. However there seems to be some sort of "love triangle" going on between him, a woman, and her boyfriend. He told me about this woman he met at his local grocery store in January and he's thinking of breaking it off with her because she came to him yesterday and told him she was pregnant and didn't know who the father was. He asked me what he should do and I had nothing to offer him. How the hell can I when he knew she had a man and was seeing her in her house almost every time her boyfriend left? I'm not a big fan of cheaters and OM/OW but I've known him for so long and thus my moral code is now ****ed up. He said he used protection on her "sometimes." I feel like I should be pissed at him but to be honest I pity him, especially now that he's scared of possibly being the father. And financially with his minimum wage position and being a full-time student he is in no position to take care of this kid (if its his). Should I distance myself from the situation and let him deal with this on his own?

Author Black Jack Posted April 21, 2012 Author Posted April 21, 2012 I guess that's up to you .. people screw up .. even friends True, true....... My cousin told me the same thing as he was in a similar situation with his former friend back when he was in high school. I just don't want to feel like a jerk if I tell him how I really feel.
