I have started an excercise program where I am eating better and no junk food allowed at all.

And I am using the Slimfast diet plan.

I am out walking with the dog everyday for one hour for the past week, and I am starting to feel better, and it seems that I have more energy.

And I even feel slimmer, I know this must all be in my head, but I am wondering why I am feeling this way.

I am liking the results but I am wondering has anyone else felt this way.

Thanks

And it is great.

The first few weeks after you start the exercise and eating better are the best, because you feel the changes really really fast.

I also started an exercise program two weeks ago (at Curves) and i like it so far. The only thing is that i am feeling more and more tired, but i am sure that this will be temporary, and that in a couple of weeks i will feel like i have more energy.

I am liking the results too!!

Thanks for the comment

I no longer think that it is all in my head.

I am up to walking one hour each and every day and I have not felt better.

I too love the feeling and so does the dog as she loves it too.

I am starting to feel more energized, and look forward to the walks.

And I sleep better too.

Thanks again

How does the slim fast diet work? Do you drink two shakes to replace two meals a day or something? "give it two weeks, it will take off the weight?" Is that true? If so, how much weight? I want to try this but I heard slimfast has just as much, if not more calories than eating real food, like a lean cusine

Yes, that would be it. And I signed on to the online diet help, and they are great, it is 24 hour encouragement and support, and that is what I need.

I just started the program one week ago so it has been a transition period.

I hate the powder so I am using the cans, I find it much more convenient.

I have a friend that had lost about 80 pounds and it took her a year and a half, so she is my inspiration.

And yes she has had serious doubts as she had been on many diets before.

For me, I have my boyfriend as encouragement, he has never harassed me about my weight, although I wished he would have, but with his recent heart attack scare, this has scared me into losing weight, and it has done a good job.

When I get so much as a craving at any time even in the middle of the night, I grab the dog and we go out walking even if it is just around the block. I used to eat when and everytime I would get a little thought that I was hungry and into the fridge I went or to the junkfood cupboard.

Mostly as a child I would use food as a comfort food, and after all these years, I have finally admitted it, and after several abusive and not so nice boyfriends, I comforted my broken heart by eating, not a good thing to do at all.

Now I do not even buy anything that resembles junkfood. No pop, or chips or popcorn, nothing.

Lots of fruit and veggies and low fat things. It has been quite the change at our house. But it has been a good one. I can't believe how energized I feel and it has only been one week, but I look forward to walking. I have never been the person to sit at home and do the exercises, been there and failed, nor am I the one to go to a gym or exercise facility. I love walking, the fresh air and the scenery and the dog loves it too.

And I keep a diary of what I ate and how much exercise I do and my thoughts, was it a good day or a bad day.

When ever I get the least bit frustrated, I grab the dog and we go out walking. It has been the best thing that I have experienced, I used to sit down on the couch after supper and we would watch movies, now we go out walking. And I do not tire out as easily as I used to.

And if I feel this great after only one week, I can't wait to see how I feel in a month.
